i do have a 10tb Harddrive somewhere...
which im downolading everything over there right now

I am tempted about this

But that's $50 a month...
Surely, there a cheaper decent company out there..
Then again, Microsoft got their ass hacked again yesterday too...

Just buy some physical HDD’s and store your data there. Cheap as hell. Those also last 5-10 years, IIRC.

I like Backblaze's pricing but uploading and retrieving your data is painfully slow when you need it. I ended up building my own NAS out of a retired Dell Poweredge. Bonus having my own Plex server.

They are not all tech savy either, I'm not around always either. & I don't want messages, MY PHONE HAS NO SPACE LEFTTTTTTTTTTT

Also, me and HDD/.SSDs dont get along haha, I travel lots, and I broke quite a few or lost them

(This is more of a "me" issue than the HDD/SSD, im clumsy, forgetful and stupid)

If you need cloud storage. That $50 deal from OneDrive is really cheap. The cheapest object storage is Backblaze at 5$/1tb/month. At 50$, you will only get 10tb.

I slit it into two sides
my own personal use
and family use and stuff
My personal usage is on SSDs and spread out on my own email accounts which has anywhere between 20-100gb each
Then I got google One for the family to share with their photos and shit.

Buy a bunch of gmails and redrive? Don't let them off the hook that easy. It might be a pain, but it could buy you enough time to find an alt without crunch time pressure (which can be costly).

The amount is justified for data security (whatever the amount may be).

Taking physical backups is a big hassle (and don't forget about power consumption as well as accidents like fire etc). If you know how to manage RAID arrays, hats off to you. I would rather buy cloud storage.
