edu backlinks

Guys, is .edu backlinks are worthy for a micro niche blog site these days? If anyone here having a better experience with these please help me, i want to rank couple of articles in google.

EDU bl's are great. Obviously the ROI will depend on the price you paid + niche and topic.

What is actual worth is contents, contents and contents.
You may have a thousand edu or gov backlinks but not unique content, then it will not have much effect, rather can have negative effect too.
Instead of backlinks, go for contents, then contents, then contents, then contents, then contents, then think of something else.

They are often good, but not inherently good. Shitty blog comments on .edu domains are still shitty blog comments.
