Hi all,
I'm going to start working for a customer for their ecommerce website and wondered about the pit falls of having too many keywords on the ecommerce page is it the same rules as info websites? Their first page is overloaded with the keyword and not much text. If you could spare a couple of minutes for some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

hamper.com

Keywords: hampers, hamper, Christmas hamper

My 2 cents for ecommerce SEO = focus on SIZE OF SITE. and HTTPS

I'd say the HTML gotta be optimised as hell, with all the <alt> tags in place and straight to the point.
Keywords are always a headache, no doubt about that.
But in order to really make smack down the competition, make sure you buy quite a few references from respectable websites in your particular locale.

We're making quite a progress with that in lead generation via organic Google traffic.

Hi do you mean increasing it or decreasing it and do you know of an article regarding the https?

That's call keyword stuffing. Google don't like keyword stuffing.
