I am looking for a professional ghostwriter to write a 25-50 page eBook for me.
A couple of things to say here:
- I am looking for people who can write to a very high standard. This is very important, so please do not apply if you are not a native English speaker and have no/little experience of writing ebooks.
- I expect you to have excellent research skills and for you to have a good understanding of Wordpress and Online Journalism related subjects. Even if you can write English well, this is of little use to me if what you write is incorrect or poorly researched.
This ebook is basically a handbook that will explain to our bloggers and others who use Wordpress, to instruct them on the various methods of writing articles using the Wordpress system.
This ebook will mostly be catered to users of our Wordpress site (which you will be given link to and admin access once hired), but should be able to apply to anyone who uses Wordpress as an online journalist or blogger.
The ebook will explain certain things available to them to help aide them to become better writers. It will also also explain certain characteristics and requirements that are needed of them to help push their articles to the top of Google.
It will also cover certain tips that many Online Journalists use to organize and keep up with various news flows.
Our website currently has around 25 writers who write news any given day, but we are in the process of opening registration to potentially hundreds and then thousands of journalists and bloggers looking for an outlet to write and potentially make money. This eBook will be given away to them when they sign up to our site as an instructional aide. We are not looking for any sales with this manual.
To apply for this position, you MUST include samples of previous work.
Finished product will be run through copyscape before payment is made. And once hired, you can take your time finishing the project. Don't need this for about a month or so, by January if possible, but the sooner it's finished, the better.
This particular job is a one time thing, but if I really like the book, may lead to other gigs of similar nature.
I can email you a similar eBook that I started on but never got the chance to finish. It's very similar to what I'm looking for from you and you can see the basic flow that I'm going for.
I don't need screenshots or pics, but I will need you to explain certain things as if a screenshot is present. I will add the pics later myself but need something to go off from.
I can also provide an outline and a couple of online sources where you can gather some of the things I may want to have covered in book.
Your work must be 100% original and we will not tolerate plagiarism. we will verify each submission to check for this and any plagiarized work will be reported and not paid for.
By applying to this job you agree this is a WORK FOR HIRE situation. You agree that we will own the rights to the work or parts of the work and you understand/agree your name will not appear anywhere on/in the work.
Thank you for taking a look at this project and we look forward to developing a long lasting working relationship with you.
If you are still interested after reading all of the above:
1.) PM your proposed rate.
2.) Also send me over details of your experience and examples of eBooks you have written in the past. No exceptions. We'll obviously need to seed your work before we hire you.
We will make milestone payments to you as you go along, or if you have a Freelancer or Odesk account, we can set something up over there as well to help protect you. But I WILL not pay up front for a service not fully rendered. I've been scammed before, but I have no problem making milestone payments that we agree upon. There is no exception on this at all.
Thanks! And you can PM me if you have any further questions.
P.S. please give me time to evaluate all responses. I'll expect to make my decision on who I'm going with by next Friday (11/30) and will update this thread accordingly when I do.
