Ebay Noob

Hi, I am thinking of selling on ebay in the future so I was just browsing this section.

I see that people are talking about stealth accounts. Why use a fake account? How does this advantage you?

Also, why do people sell from multiple accounts rather than one account?

Lastly, people keep mentioning that their paypal accounts are getting banned? Is it because they're doing something shady? I plan on selling legitimately so do I need to worry about paypal bans?

You know someone has got banned from ebay and paypal and they will not allow for continues use old infromation to register and selling on ebay more. That why they need buy steath account and continues for selling and get profit. With steathling account will not good but for get profit they will come buy and use it.

Many reasons for stealth accounts, I have never done anything Illegal in my life yet I am banned from ebay for life for selling something they deemed against their policies, yet it was legal and I sell it in the UK legally all the time so that's one reason. The reason I have multiple accounts is a) means I can list more items as each ebay account has limits on HOW MANY items you can sell & b) If ebay decides they don't like something I am selling and ban my account I still have lots of other accounts to use.

You can be banned from ebay simply for selling a great product at a great price, competitors will do anything to get you banned, sad but true.
