eBay Listing Removed

Hi there,

I'm after some advice please?

I listed some VERY expensive shoes on eBay that I bought for my wife, that are too small for her, on eBay. I bought them in France and we live in the UK so am not about to take them back, so I decided to list them on eBay.

When I did I received this message :-

'You recently listed the following listing:

320343753367 - Christian Louboutin Trotinette Suede Booties
320344165407 - Christian Louboutin Fringe Boot


The listing was removed because it violated eBay policy. We notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

These ARE genuine Louboutin shoes and I want to sell them.

Does anyone have any advice WHY my add might have infringed a company's trademark, when there are 100's of people selling Louboutin boots / shoes, MOST are fakes.

Any help / guidance gratefully accepted.

yeah it's hard to sell clothes on eBay they always think they are fake and the buyers think they are fake too so they bid low prices. Don't even bother selling authentic clothes on ebay.

Call egay CS and tell them they are real. You have a certificate or bag or something or receipt with them so use that too in the listing. get ebay to credit back your listing fees and re-list. Don't let it go, follow it through.

I also think its either a Power Seller thats upset that has complained or because I haven't sold anything on ebay for a while, I don't have 100% feedback?

sell them on another auction site....the faster pple start dumping egay the better

Make sure you use your OWN pictures, description, and title. Also, if you have a receipt, scan that and post it in the auction (after crossing out personal info) and that should take care of your auction being taken down.

To add to what cskgsquad said, it also helps when taking your own pictures, include a piece of paper in the photo with your egay seller ID on it.

I don't know what eBay and PayPal have up their a**es, but they are never happy with anything even if it is legal!

Yeah, I did all this. I took my own pictures, watermarked them and uploaded but their STILL not happy!! Do they use Robots to look at listings or people? There are 100's of people selling FAKES of what I'm offering, and I'm wondering IF one of the Fake Powersellers complained about my real stuff?

could be, that happens a lot. people dont like any competition. If egay want to pick on you you are pretty much fucked. i see people with virtually no FB selling fakes and i list 1 thing with my 4 year old account and they slap my wrist and pull it down. I'd sell your stuff in local classifieds and let people come view the stuff before they buy.

Just get a new eBay account and get a Visa gift card for the sellers fees (you can just use the card before eBay takes the fees out) and end the auction after you get one bid. Try not to leave it up for more than a day. That has been working for me for months now.

interesting, they do seem to take a few days to remove my auctions if im selling something that a lot of people counterfeit

the interesting thing is I listed two items, and they only took one item down. I made a few changes to the one that got taken down, and re uploaded. They then took BOTH listings down together the second time.

I used eBay Turbo Lister. Do you thing this might have anything to do with it? Maybe If I just did the listing directly it would not be taken down?

Any thoughts?
