Ebay has become a scam ️ What platform next ?

It's unfair that this happens to honest people... Have you though about doing everything you do but in your own business? AKA setup your own store and run ads and traffic to it to get paying customers? This puts you in full control and mitigates the risk of relying on something like Ebay. Where your whole business is in their hands and they can swipe you any moment. Wish the best...

How much more financially expensive is coding your own engine, for example, than Shopify? do you code yourself?
It cost me 0$, because yes, I code myself.

The messages will still appear in your mail box

Last years, ebay don't care anymore about if you are good seller or not, if they want to suspend your account, they will do it without a reason. Why don't you go for Stealth accounts?

Did you tried Shopify?
Inbox was emptied by ebay, customers messages & ebay messages disappeared.
Shopify : expensive, not your own website, not your own server, no reason to go this way.

My suggestion would be to sell your stuffs on your own platform. F the third parties. Peace of mind.
100% agree, it's my plan.

You have many Ebay accounts??
No, and also they didn't want to delete my personal data despite of it's a legal obligation here in EU, another good reason to ban Ebay from my life.

Update :
I tested many more platforms, all are big piece of sh*t, very poor traffic and/or scamers everywhere, etc... a pure nightmare for noobies D:
Only vinted and leboncoin (the french craiglist) are safe if we stick to their payment system.
Unfortunately, this platforms are not suitable for my business.

Now, with an in-depth analysis of the situation, I'm even more confident with my ecommerce platform development.

Thank you all for your replies, but I don't want to go on third-party platforms anymore :p

I meant your gmail

I meant your gmail
Only automatic messages that says I received a message in my ebay inbox + BS scripted replies from employees who understand nothing (one of them managed to tell me that I will be refunded for the free listing fees... o_O)

finally found real man who says everything strictly.this problem i am facing without reason the are banned me.i am always saying they starting scam

Agree with this post. Ebay itself is operating as a scam now. They try to manipulate you by holding your funds until you do what they want. Recently suspended my 20+ year old account for no reason, other than some vague claims about their "community". But even if you are selling on there, you lose 10-15% for their fees and then another 10-15% if you use their ads (which if you don't, good luck getting any sales). Basically 30% of your selling price goes in their pocket...what a garbage website. Facebook Marketplace seems a little better and only charges 5% per sale, and you get a lot more traffic on most items.

man , more details on that PLEASE:)
More details as I can describe here:
Create you own store with products
Upload goods from amazon
Optimize your store in accordance with Google shopping policies
Create an account and upload products through the G shopping product feed.
Drive traffic through Google AdWords and get Free listings traffic from Google Shopping.
enjoy.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, but actually I encounter difficulties with signup (different physical address & identity address), waiting their reply about that.

Unfortunately, it's not possible, I just have the big red message "your account is blocked" when I try to login, but every messages and anything else was deleted by ebay...

Yes I know, but it was not dropshipping, it was physical stock.

If you had told me that, I wouldn't have believed you either before encountering the problem.

Yes I agree, but today they can ban honest sellers and leaving scam sellers alone.
Take a look on trustpilot reviews, if you want more stories about that, you will be served !

They deleted my products because of woocommerce is not updated lol.
But no problem for me, I'm actually building a ecommerce website from scratch, it will be 10x faster and not flagged by google.

Impossible, I tried to sell unbranded (generic) electronics circuits.

Update :
- I created a woocommerce website and added all products manually to google shopping, very bad idea, woo is even worse than years ago... bad performances, worse UX than before, and flagged by google because of updates, etc...

- I signed up on 10+ platforms :
> 2 where broken (and it was the worst of all platforms so I don't care).
> 3 waiting for account validation (I'm not in the right country so I have to pass more securities).
> Waiting for resolving the issue with etsy (But not sure it's suitable for electronic circuits, I'll better sell handmade things)
> 1 refused my subscription (joom).
> Vinted doesn't accept electronics products, but looks nice for other products, waiting for the first sales to scale up.
> The other accepted the products, but they have a poor traffic.
> Amazon is too expensive for me right now, but surely I'll go for it in a while.
> Aliexpress, dhgate & others are all obviously cheaper than me.
Result after 1+ week : 0 sales.

- Actually I'm coding the new ecommerce website, it will take a long time to build, but performances will be very good (100% on every page speed checkers), very good SEO, custom features, etc... better than woo, cheaper than others, and designed in a replicable way, because I'll create many websites for each niche to try everything I can do: SaaS, "true" dropshipping, digital services, and classic ecommerce.

Electronic circuits? Arduino stuff and the like?

In my opinion, the best way would be your own website + Google Ads + Bing Ads (I would avoid FB ads)

That really sounds like a LONG time, or at least like endless work. Taking care of everything, including the database best structure, security, performance, etc... You must be a hell of a coder to do something better than what is already in "the streets", that have gone through a long evolution and have been coded by many brilliant minds. If I was that good at coding, I would better take a working product and modify it my way.

I don't think they will threaten people. Ban your account yes. Threaten you? Never.

What a load of rubbish.
Are you telling me that eBay treated to destroy your business? Sue them then.
Any message you get about your account being banned will be sent to your email address. So just look there. I also believe that you can request data from them. Including your chat log. Data protection and all that.

Do they ban people for little reasons? Yes.
Do they take money from your customers and not tell you? No.
Do they threaten to destroy peoples businesses? No.
EBay is far from perfect but I think you might have gone slightly over the top in what happened.

Quick update:

After long months of hard work, I finally did it; A full custom and automated e-commerce solution with all the features I need for my projects.
Also, I "accidentally" built a large audience in a specific niche, ready for ads diffusion. Hope it will be profitable.
Actually building automated marketing tools to boost promotion for almost zero-cost, and fix several things before going ahead.
Ready to launch my businesses soon.

Concerning your reply about existing products, yes, this products were built by "many brilliant minds", but also minds under pressure, with dumb directives/hierarchy, because they just need a job to live, and most of this products come from another age.
On my side, I started from zero, without any pressure, no fixed deadline, no dumb boss (except my own brain lol), no money needs, etc... I don't consider myself as a "brillant mind", I just have 10+ years of experience in coding and I finally use it for something else than just "selling my time for a cheap salary, profiting a dumb boss who just reaps the fruits of his employees' labor".
