Word on the street that this chapter is over now since the new TOS update to ban retail dropshipping.

Feel for everyone who invested in there financially and emotionally but forgot to invest private labelling.

@archixet shed some light buddy.

I thought it was always not allowed or at least not advised?
Plus how will the find out, they don't allow digital items such as software keys to be sold but the market is flooded with them.

Hello,

We’ve determined that you haven’t followed our selling practices policy therefore, we will be removing your Top Rated Seller status until your account is in compliance with the policy.

There is evidence on your account that you are purchasing items from an online retail or marketplace site after you sell the item on eBay and having that retailer ship the item directly to the customer. This is a violation of the terms and conditions section of our Selling practices policy, which states:

·Items you list must be in your inventory or you must have an existing agreement with a third party to fulfill the delivery of the item under the terms of your listing.

Well, technically? It's not allowed (not a crime too).
But honestly, all you need to say is that you got a local provider called 'X' and you sell his things online, blah blah blah.
No one will chase after you or etc.

But yea, eBay goal is chase quality and retailers; drop shippers make eBay so big but they would like to be even bigger and without all those drop shippers; I honestly don't think they'll make it that way.

Is just the same for me. Maybe the traditional ways are over but I just got started with this with my new tricks & techniques & I don't think eBay or Amazon is even close of understanding what I am doing.

I have been able to do insane revenues dropshipping & still believe that I am just getting started & there are hell load of possibilities that I am yet to hit. The key was to get a lot of good developers on board & develop my own tools. Just a day ago we had a meeting & we developed 600 of our own tools for dropshipping on eBay & Amazon & still continuing..

The question is.. how do they wanna find out if someone is dropshipping?

Apparently they do as the accounts are closed in waves and this is how it reached to me.

Dropshipping on ebay is allowed but you have to prove that, it means that you have to show two proofs, 1- proof that you bought products from wholesell supplier 2- proof that you have an agreement with that suplier to keep products with him and ship it when you ask that,, i think ebay want to give top rated seller to real busniss men and not for dropshipers without any proof, also i have read that they will remove gaypal as away of paying out by the start of 2021, all sellers will add their own bank account, funds will transfer in one day, there will be no HOLD anymore, so i know that they will not start this unless they make all things right, which means ALL dropshippers must declare their business informations.

Not even sure why one would need or could manage 600 tools for dropshipping or im missing the point in here :p

Dropshippers often use 3rd party tools, those APIs can tell on them. Shipping times can be a dead giveaway too. A multibillion dollar company must have a few methods under its sleeves to identify dropshippers with high accuracy.

it must be the shipping times and coming from China will not help, i was just going to try this too lol

They are pretty clear, just get an agreement with your buying/shipping company and list that that on the ebay products sale.

FWIW there's a guy on Youtube named Paul Lipsky who used to be a lawyer before going full-time with Ebay dropshipping. He did a video the other day about this subject and analyzed it from a legal perspective. Here's the the vid;
