Easy Adult $ Method That's Free

On the copyright issue, there was a brief conversation today amongst a few people I was following. Someone got a copyright violation notice from an artist on deviantART who didn't want their stuff shared. I don't know the details; I'm just letting you know that it does happen.

The method I posted is a way to get some extra cash without too much work. He knows how to make a living with it, if you are so inclined.

Sincerely, thank you for the advice you gave me above. My follower count has increased to 30, and the number of unique visitors has over doubled. I have yet to see any examples of how to monetize on tumblr in general though. Infact, I haven't run across a single tumblelog that uses in page ads. I guess everyone uses affiliate links? Well I might try AdEngage once I have more traffic and hopefully that will go well.

There have been some promising stats though. Only a couple of days ago most people were leaving my site in less than five seconds. I'd say about 80 - 90 %. Today, about half way through the day, the numbers look much better.

I'm new to all this, so I might be getting excited over nothing. But its fun so far. If you have any other nuggets of gold to share I'll gladly hold out a basket. =D

Glad things are looking up for you. The only other thing I have right now is stick with it. You just never know when something is going to take off.

I noticed this morning that one of my posts was going viral. I didn't remember making the post though. It took me forever to figure out when I posted it. Apparently, I posted it almost 6 months ago and it was completely ignored at the time. Someone dug it up from my archives last night and it's all over the place now. New followers are coming in like crazy this morning. So don't get discouraged. Even if it looks like things you are posting now are getting attention. You never know when they might get it.

The only bad thing is that I disabled the ads on my tumblr to play around with some things. Doesn't look like I'm going to have the time to put them back up today either. Oh well. At least the new followers will pay off down the road.

How many blogs are you allowed to have at tumblr.

I can automate the whole thing but the terms and conditions say systematic account creation will cause your account to be disabled.

Can you please let me know how many accounts you have created?

Ive never used tumblr before so any help is appreciated.

i've been looking into automation too via their API, the idea is writing a bot that will reblog certain posts that have enough 'notes' (like gravity) for the startup and maybe an autofollow system (but i think this needs via scraped html since the api does not support this), then when followers get above a threshold stop the reblogging and start adding pictures from affiliates (automaticaly) or from other free pron galleries.

However.. Everytime I try to access the API functions I get an error message stating their servers are overloaded.. I guess they just can't keep up with growth..

Have been playing around on tumblr for a day or 2 now and its like the wild wild west of pron pics lol

To the person following this thread who started a couple of tumblr blogs with the name of a popular pay site in the titles:

a) Be careful. You are reblogging pictures that clearly don't come from the site in your name. Posting copyrighted pictures from a site once in awhile is one thing, co-opting their name is something altogether different.

b) If you do get slapped for it at some point, please do not complain that this method doesn't work.

I agree with you hundred percent. I started off in the adult industry back in Nov of 2008 and I've owned a various amount of sites and still do. I have in particular I worked on it constantly using an adult video tube script and a sub-niche . I mainly focused on building content for the site. Everyday grabbed videos from my affiliate and embed them into my sites script. After 2 weeks my site sprouted out getting 200+ UV's a day. In 3 months it took off getting 2,000 - 2,500 a day. It generated a net income of $200 - $400 a month. I used adult webcam sites, dating sites as side ad income and squirt niche related affiliate promotions as the main-line income. The thing I liked about my site is it had a good script that well monetized my structure of the site in the best areas. I was focused on trading hardlinks with bigger and well ranked adult review and directory sites to move up the SERPs. Guys don't be shy to email these bigger sites with good PR and SERPs, they most likely will give you a hardlink trade. You have to put some effort into the wording you write them. I persuade them telling them how they will benefit linking to my site. I told them that I invested a lot of cash and time in marketing and I update my site everyday. Then you gotta say that their SERPs will get stronger link juice and this will prevent the sandbox for a lot of their mid term - long term keywords. 90% of the time they say "Link added".

I choose squirting, I pretty much set the stage with the squirting niche. I invented squirt tube sites, right now my site only gets around 6000 UV's from google a day and growing I don't want to reveal the profits that is you to decide, lets just say in 6 months my traffic will triple to around 20,000 UV's day..

To get started is cheap it cost $78 for the script, $7 for domain, $20/month hosting. In 3 months you should easily have double what it cost. In 9 months you will prob be making $500-$800 each month. I have all the resources and connections to get who ever wants to started. I could use some link partners and ideas for the industry. Right now I'm doing insane marketing on a stock blog. It has been up for 1 month and has made $86 with 80 UVs from google a day, I love it.

I'm doing heavy research and contemplating a genius idea for a product.
This thread is helpful for a lot of people although I don't use tumblr for adult bookmarking, I use better sites. Although tumblr can be a helpful site, I disagree with marketing it for adult related sites. It is a waste of time. I found out quality hardlink and deep link trades are the key to getting ranked well on google. Adult sites get heavy traffic really quick and getting money isn't hard. A good niche is the best way to see outside the box of the industry, they convert well. I use twitter but will now consider tumblr as an add on of my social network arsenal.

But the real picture here as that most people who get into adult websites end up quiting their first month. They think in 1 month they will make an outrageous amount of cash. These people sicken me and I don't see why patience can't be a virtue. If you guys know what you are doing and have learned the PROS and CONS of the SEO field of being a SEO expert than you should really have no problem understanding the core value of patience and persistence. With those abilities you can accomplish great things.

I just got out of jail charges dropped 2 months ago. I was in their 6 months. My websites paid my rent, car bill, electric, water, commissary, collect call bill. It felt great, I didn't realize how fortunate I was until I found out how I shouldn't take life for granted. A lot of low life people in the place. For some reason my mind has dramatically expanded. I can think clearer, It's like jail rehabilitated me to think clear. So I've moved on to better things. Right now I'm somwhere in financials.

I have a question, has anyone figured out how to add banner ads or links to they're affiliate networks, to the caption section on a original post or a reblog? (not using the "Set a click through link")

I've been toying and playing with the idea and have made several attempts to add these to the caption section, with no luck. I've gotten far as showing that there is a picture attached(banner), however the banner doesn't show until its clicked, once clicked the link itself doesn't work.

I would imagine its possible this aspect has been turned off, on Tumblr's side of things, does anyone know for sure?
