after testing this method on and off (got things to do and my dad went to hospital so i was vacuum for about 2 weeks), i could say the method works but not for all niches.

there are niches where you wont make any money at all. Picking your niche is the most important thing to do here!

There are other alternative, if you don't have money to invest..you can create web2.0 like blogger/wordpress/tumblr...write or copy some content + review, add some fake comment or copy comments from other review website..just keep it simple..IT WORKS!

I am currently putting this in to practice now. Not as easy as it sounds for a beginner but I've got as far as posting links on forums and Yahoo Answers. I plan to do a few a day for a week, if I don't see any income at all I know I'm doing it wrong.

try to pick on 5-10 different niches. Doing research from the start is very important. (dont choose very saturated niches and dont choose the ones with garbage forums on your google alert)

since i havent had much success, i dont know. People who claimed they have been largely successful with this method never posted here anymore. Personally i would suggest you go with niches that have rebill options. dont go with CPA as you will need to keep referring customers (and therefore keep spamming the forums)

*and yes, even if you are just trying to be helpful, posting your links again and again will flag spam alert

Hey guys! Like many, I've been lurking around this thread. First of all, I would like to thank Meathead for this fantastic idea. It's truly brilliant.

Second, about 4 days ago I finally took action. Picked out a niche, bought a commercial domain, hosting, chose a decent looking WP theme and started posting reviews of products from CB. But the problem is I'm getting very few G alerts on this niche, even though it seems to be one of the biggest on the Internet. Therefore I get very little traffic or no traffic whatsoever. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong with G alerts?

One thing I'm really doing not like Meathdead suggested is reviewing more than one niche's products in my site. You see, the site's niche is broad, but the categories in that site are specific and contain their own products from CB, and are all related to the main niche. With this I hoped to get two or even more rabbits with one shot, not having to create more websites. Except, I can't test if this is effective, because I can barely attract traffic.

Maybe someone would be kind enough to take a look at my website and tell me what might be the problem? Is the niche bad, or am I doing smth wrong with G alerts? Or smth else?

What options do you set for your G alerts? Like, for "result type", do you use "everything" or only a specific type like "discussion"? And do you prefer only the "best results" or "all results"?

About to try this method but i have one question. Do you need a new site for each product or can this still work if you promote 4-5 Products on the one site?

How are you letting forums put links back to your site? Most forums hate this in my experience.

depends on the niche and the forum itself honestly. I have no problem with my niche but i agree in certain niches (such as diet) they always delete your link no matter what.

In the end you need to test different niches and go on with ones that are profitable

*Im not saying if your conversion rate is poor, it must be because of the niche...it could be your LP, could be anything
