Exactly. I'm trying to say some things without sounding disrespectful about meathead here. Because he is genuinely trying to help everyone. But there is an aweful lot that went unsaid. You aren't hearing very many success stories. The ones that you do hear already were doing well it seems. Darkrocker appears to be the only one having success. God knows how he's doing it. He claims he's not even doing anything. He's been letting it sit and still making money.
This doesn't appear to be working for most of us. Anything that ever sounds too good to be true never is. I think this falls into that category. I'm also tired of people commenting here and trying to tell us why we're doing something wrong when we aren't. Someone just above tried to tell me that having a review site was the reason I'm failing! But that is what meathead laid out in his mandate!! That's what he said he does and that's what he recommended. That or a personal blog especially if you're doing weight loss.
Honestly I wouldn't go as far as saying I was successful. Making $255 over 7 weeks is not phenomenal. Now I'm probably going to come across as a dick
but don't take it the wrong way. If you currently have the mindset that the amount I made with this method over that time period is "success" then that's
probably your first problem. The first tier of my goal is making a little more than that in a week and my actions reflected that goal. For the time that I was
doing this actively I was doing hundreds of posts per day. 300 to 700 daily is a good estimate. Checking the google alerts feed regularly so my comments
or posts would be one of the first.
Now out of the thousands and thousands of links I posted how many stuck? Certainly not most of them, I got plenty of bans and a few emails from admins.
But I was actually able to work a deal out with one of them and he kept a few of my links on his site. Point is you gotta keep at it, and if you set your goals
high the amount of work you put in will feel much more worth while. I DID put a lot of work in, and it's been rewarded with a small (and varying) stream of
traffic. Most of my profits weren't made during this "hands off" phase I'm in right now. The only exceptions would be about $10 in amazon and trial sign ups
for clickbank products (although that has the potential to turn into another $30 in a few weeks).
And I'm sure there have been others who've been successful, I've just been pretty vocal in this thread and updated regularly so maybe that's why I stand out.
If anything I've been too specific about my earnings (sometimes down to the cent). Also don't assume I was doing well before I started this method, this is my
first shot at IM and I'm currently unemployed. All in all I'm very thankful to Meathead, the cash I made from this method has helped me a lot since I have no other
income. I hope one day I can greatly expand my methods and my earnings with IM and reach the goals I have laid out for myself.
