Before you start selling eggs or products derived from eggs, you will need approval from the FDA and you will need to apply for a license. It is quite a rigorous process, but if you believe in what you are doing, anything's possible.

Make a fanpage on facebook, and do some cheap PPE campaigns for OP's DAMN FRESH EGGS. Get that name out there, then run a simple ad for your eggs to a landing page on your site with a wufoo form for customers to order. Use Zapier to send out a confirmation with the address they need to come pick up OP'S DAMN FRESH EGGS. Provide your local customers EGGCELLENT service.
Or, you know, craigslist. Give it a shot, its not the worst way to spend your money on an experiment.

Pretty much. Once you get a bit of word of mouth, this will work well. My dad and I used to sell the eggs the chickens laid when I was younger. People loved his eggs, and would pay 6 bucks a carton for them, shit, feathers, and all still attached.

Agreed. When it comes to food, local is definitely the trend, use online for brand management purposes only. That being said, I always love seeing these sort of ideas taking off so who knows.

Honestly, this is a great little side hustle for some beer money. Even a small little PPE campaign will generate enough interest locally for word of mouth to spread. You could even do something like writing on the carton: OP's CERTIFIED FRESH AS FUCK EGGS. #StillShitAndFeathers
I'd bet people would love that, and just eat it up.

Yes, throw out some flyers in the area, get a facebook ad campaign going.
You can even charge to reserve eggs so the people feel they are getting an exclusive product, Make a video on how you raise and care for the chickens make it as CHEESY as possible...
