Earning $100,000 From Freelance | Zero to Hero

Heya to everyone following this journey; got an urgent question for you all.

Got any methods in mind for me to approach potential clients?

Where's a good place to find them apart from freelancing platforms/cold-calling?

(Thinking about doing some type of "manual" approach outside of any platforms at the same time to get to find as many clients as possible, potentially for big deals that would last months instead of a one-time gig, but anything would work as long as I keep going nicely)

Thanks in advance, fellas.

Cold email

Thanks for reading!

Fair enough will give it a try. Any idea how to source e-mails of potential clients though?
Yes, you'd typically start off with a cold email template and follow up op replies.

What really works in cold emails is up to you, since you're the only one with the gig. Typically people try to implement a scare tactic or fear factor (whatever you wanna call it) and a CTA with something interesting to the buyer. An additional tip is playing into the curiosity of the buyer but it really depends on what kind of gig you have imo

P.S.
If you meant finding the email addresses I'm sorry I misunderstood ;)

I meant finding the e-mail addresses/clients but you cleared off a few concerns I had on the process as well so that's dope haha, thanks, my guy. Was considering templates yesterday; wasn't sure if it was going to be okay if I used one in comparison to making a handcrafted message from scratch for each individual client. Seems like it's the easiest and most efficient way to get a template going, why didn't I do this sooner. Missed a day though, not years haha. Appreciate you yet again.

Good luck mate.
Thanks for your time reading man!

No worries.

And a good method of getting email leads is by scraping. You can go as creative as you want with this. The cheapest and most used method is instagram scraping. You make/buy a bot that scrapes the email addresses of instagram accounts using hashtags. Additionally, if your fiverr gig is in a pretty general niche like crypto, you may scrape from forums instead. This is a simple but highly effective method of getting leads that aren't getting spammed a lot if you're in a general niche. Think crypto, lifestyle, pets anything big probably has a forum. It would help if you share your niche so I can think with you.

Hmm, really interesting. My work is revolved around digital marketing if that helps you give me more feedback. Thanks again!

Maybe really shady but I remember in 2012 MSN was shut down, before that it was the #1 communication platform.
Guess what, MSN uses a mail adress to communicate. You can get a lot of 10 year old leads from forums you can niche down per forum or platform. Who's interested in digital marketing products? Probably most 20's, 30's. So 10 year old email addresses are perfect.

Mhm, that's very sneaky; lovely method. Will definitely do my research on that. You're the man!

Hi, great thread mate ! Hope you do well in this as you seem super fun and experienced to read.
What exactly did you do in this 200$ job? Could you give any recommendations to someone who wants to try out digital marketing ?
