Keep living. We all have bad times and I think lots of people here hit rock bottom few times. If you need people to talk, you should go out and Step out of your comfort zone.
Pretty much what i thought, my grandfather had cancer. They told us to spent time with him, that he would die within a few months.
He lived for 8 years moreAnd didn't even die from cancer, but from a brain issue.

Same thing happened to my grandmother, twice actually. She lived in NYC until 1996. She was diagnosed with a disease and was told that she should come to Philly and spend her last days with her family. So she moved here and reconnected with her children and began a relationship with her grandchildren (Myself being the oldest.) Well its 2017 and she is still here reconnecting and building relationships. The lady is a warrior.
On another occasion, about 6 years ago she fell down a large flight of steps and broke her neck. She was told by doctors that she would never walk again. Every night the doctors came into her room they would find her on the floor. They sent her to rehab to try to learn basic skills again. Well today the lady walks around all over the place with no issues at all. She probably can outwalk my lazy ass.
For years she has been my motivation, my muse.

Sorry to hear about this. Listen, there is a lot more to you than you give yourself credit for or else you wouldn't have posted this. Why don't you speak with your wife about it.
Keep in mind that we are all dying and in some ways you are lucky becasue you know how you will die and when. You have the time to prepare himself and put your life in prespective. Not all of us will be that lucky.

OP, I don't know what you are going through, what I do know is that nothing is deserving of the viciousness and lack of humanity I have seen in some of the responses you have received to your question.
I am very sorry for your circumstances, whatever they are, and for the unkindness I have seen here.
You ask what I would do in your situation? Well, personally, I would fight, with everything in me, until my dying breath, to stay alive.
I would think of all the possibilities in the world, and I would remember that no matter what ails me, whether physical, emotional or any other turmoil, that absolutely nothing in this great universe is impossible, and that whatever ails me, a healing of whatever kind necessary is possible.
