Dutchie's Twitter Journey

The VPS is only 3GB RAM with 2 cores. Not sure if it could handle 3 instances of the program running. Basically I'm only follow/unfollowing and tweeting. No DM'ing or anything like that. And I only do 2 actions per day. So some days I'll follow/tweet, and a few days later I'll unfollow/tweet. I might run another instance of FL when I'm managing more accounts but during this learning process on 4 pages I think I should be good with 1.

By the way I definitely see how running more instances would speed things up so I'm actually going to do that as soon as I add more pages to FL.

So, you only have 1 Follow Liker windows or project? You follow/unfollow/like/tweet with the same project?

It's that's the case, make:
- 1 project for follow/unfollow
- 1 project for tweet
- 1 project for DM
- ...

1 project for each action.

Hey mate, could you explain that? Isn't the software capable of it?

Basically the software 'rotates' between actions. Usually you'd check off the 'shuffle tasks' button and the bot would rotate following, tweeting, DM'ing, etc between accounts. However if you open a window (instance) for each action, you'll have one that only rotates between following, another that only does tweeting, etc.

So instead of the bot sending out a tweet, and waiting for it to rotate around again so it can send some follows, you'll have an instance that's constantly following and an entirely separate one for tweets.

Will update thread tonight with latest followers report

Okay, thanks for the explanation. But you can have multiple accounts per instance without problems? So you only create new instances for new actions?

UPDATE:

I threw 2 new accounts onto FL with proxies. Already had to jump through hoops and hurdles and do the verification process because they were locked for aggressive following. The thing is, I had them following every 2 minutes. I didn't know Twitter became this strict.

I decided to de-active the following on the new accounts and I'm probably just going to tweet on them for the next day or two before I continue to follow, and when I do follow, it'll probably be at an even slower rate than before.

I'll continue the following on the older accounts as I've had no problems with them so far. I don't have any new numbers as far as followers gained are concerned because I just started running the software 3 hrs ago. If I update the numbers it'll probably be in another 3-4 hrs.

UPDATE #2

I used to run 10 accounts on Twitter with no proxy on 1 IP for over 1,5 year with FL...no problem. Though due to new security methods of Twitter I am thinking to add proxies now.

Proxies are cheap af nowadays. Get them.
But get them in the same area as your IP is based now. Don't get US proxies when you are sitting in italy.

Yeah I bought U.S. proxies & for some reason they all seem to be based in Seattle or Dallas. Make sure they're private, virgin proxies too. And make sure your provider renews them monthly or exchanges the ones that don't work.

I've seem to hit a roadblock because I can't make as many accounts as I'd like. I've used my phone number up the maximum amount of times and also my Google Voice account. The only way for me to make new accounts that I can keep for a while is to keep getting Google voice numbers. But I think there's a daily limit as to how many times I can do this trick because Gmail stopped me after 2 emails yesterday.

dutchie, can you explain why to follow/unfollow one day and tweet the next, and so on?

Sure. I tweet everyday. The only thing I don't do is follow/unfollow on the same day. The reason for this is because you need to give people time to follow you back. If I follow 1,000 people in a day and I unfollow in that same day I'm essentially unfollowing everyone I just followed.

If I follow 1,000 people a day for 3 days before unfollowing, I'd have followed 3,000 people. Over the course of those 3 days I give them all time to follow back. After 3 days I'll unfollow.

My best day so far followers wise. Posting this now because I plan to go to bed early. Yesterday I posted the update 3-4 hrs past this time & only gained +222 so I already passed yesterday's goal in 4 hours less time.

Some background info: This went from a 4 account operation to a 7 account operation (3 accs added on a proxy). Twitter locked me out of my new accounts yesterday so I slowed everything down. Started with a 350 follow limit, dropped it down to 150. Also slowed down the following delay on those pages. These new pages will take a while to build up. I'm tweeting on them 3 times a day at least in order to build up the activity on those pages. Its annoying, but it'll pay off in a few days when I raise the limit to 500 and gain more followers in return. I also plan to add 2-3 more pages tomorrow on a different proxy. Like wizard, I'm also aiming to monetize the pages and earn just $10/day. I'll make my money back on the software, proxies, and VPS servers that way in a few months.
By the end of next week I plan to have 15+ automated pages.

Thanks four your answer. But FL has an option to unfollow after X days. Have set mine to 3 days in the start.
You wrote about the instances of FL. But doesn't follow liker does another action if "following" is on "cooldown"?
Hope you understand what I'm trying to say as its morning at my place and hadn't a coffee yet.

Its nearly 3AM here but I woke up out of my sleep just to add tweets to my lists. I'm doing a mixture of scraped tweets and original but mostly original tweets and its the most annoying part of this whole thing.

Anyway, I've had experiences in the past where Twitter would lock/suspend accounts for aggressive following and unfollowing. If I follow 1,000 people in a day, and unfollow 5,000 they might suspect me of doing something fishy. Also, I plan to add 3 more accounts tomorrow on a different proxy than the one I was just using.

I have a question for anyone that has an answer... When I run a FL project with the global wizard, does it also follow the same people from the same users?

And make sure your provider renews them monthly
this is exactly what you don't want, when you use the proxies for managing social media accounts :), you want to keep the same proxies for as long as possible

as far as twitter locking you out of accounts or disabling the accs goes, i can't seem to find any pattern at least in my case, it's kinda random

i use 100 accs as of now, a few months old PVAs, 2 accs per proxy, 1 domain per account, i'm doing the same aggressive actions with all of them, following 1k, unfollowing 1k daily, posting photo tweets with urls 75 times a day and in the last months only 4 accs were suspended
i'm planning to add some likes in the mix too, i guess i'll start with the 1k/day limit and maybe with a new set of 100 accs, if twitter decides to suspend these lol

what i noticed that i disappear from the twitter search from time to time - you can check it easily if you type "from:yourtwitterusername" without the quotation marks into twitter search and see if your tweets show up under 'Live' or no) - so i think i'll slow down with the tweeting and mix in some retweets, i think that will help

password resets happen no matter what you do, i get one or two daily, it's enough if you try to log in to an account too many times (which doesn't happen of course if you use a tool which has cookie support), you don't have to hit any following/unfollowing limits for that to happen, of course the chance is higher if you push it to the limit, but it can happen because of other things too even with every day, normal usage

Thanks for the info. The reason I said you want your provider to refresh them is because when they go bad you'd want them replaced. Now of course, if a proxy lasts you 3 months that's great news and you should keep that same proxy. It'll get annoying doing the verification when I get new proxies every month but at least I know those proxies will be good for a month..if that makes any sense

you said you're running 100 accts..on a VPS I'm assuming? can I get the specs on your VPS? I feel my VPS lagging from time to time and I don't even have many accounts running on it

makes sense, however if nothing bad happens, like a datacenter is going down, the proxies should last long months, even years maybe, changing proxies on the accounts monthly will do more harm than good for sure, you can ask for replacements if and when a proxy goes down, there's no need to change all of them monthly imho

nope, no VPS for me

i'm running them on my machine, i'm using a different bot than followliker (it's from a different forum, i can't name it), i'm using 50 threads at once, i run two instances of the bot, so 2x50 threads, soon to be 3x50, when i start liking too, the bot runs smoothly on my notebook on Win 10 Pro (3rd gen i3-3110M, 4 GB RAM and SATA HDD, so nothing fancy)

maybe check out the journey thread by wizard04 or ask him what VPS is he using, i think he had issues with his VPS before, he changed them multiple times

I'm loving my VPS at the moment. Its just the occasional lag that bothers me. Wonder if it'll be able to handle 30+ pages. It's a 3GB RAM VPS with 2 cores which was better than the one Wizard started with if I remember correctly. and its from Hostwinds. I was recommend Hostwinds by a ton of sites and things of that sort. So far they've proven to be very reliable

I plan to watch this Deadpool movie soon so I won't be on later to update the numbers so I'll just do it now. Again I beat yesterday's records. One of the reasons for this is because I added another 3 accounts today (up to 10 pages) but the main reason is I sped up the delay between follows. I had my aged accounts following 950 a day and I noticed because of the delays and their automation schedule, they were only following 700-800 people. Got them to follow 900-950 now. It's been a while since I uploaded a screenshot. So I'll upload one just to show you guys I'm not dicking around and just saying shit just to say it

Yesterday's Followers: 15,889
Today's Followers: 16,249(+360)

I'm being a scaredy-cat on my 6 newer pages and following 150-250 a day. I already got locked out of 2 of them and had to reset the passwords. Once I get those pages following 900+ a day expect my followers to go up by 600+ daily. I'll be adding 3 pages on a proxy every day or every other day. When I finally have my 20 pages up and running I'll be expecting 1,000+ followers daily

Almost forgot the screenshot

Again beating yesterday's records. I didn't see myself getting 500+ followers for another day or two, so this is a small satisfying win for me. I didn't do much today as far as the software goes either. I was creating original tweets and scraping pics from authority niche accounts late last night. It's the most annoying, time consuming thing there is. But my accounts are now good to go for the next 2-3 days as far as tweets go. I still have 10 accounts. I'll probably add 3 more accounts tomorrow or Monday. By next Friday I expect to have 9 more pages(for a total of 19) and I expect to be gaining 1,000+ followers daily at this rate.

I have no idea what I'll do to monetize the pages but plans for monetization are a good month or 2 away.
