WEEK ONE SUMMARY:
This is definitely more work than you think it is at first. Its so smooth when you're running 5-10 pages but once you're up to 10+ pages it gets annoying scraping and creating tweets for all these accounts. I'm not just making pages to get traffic. I'm treating each page like my baby.. With a profile pic, a bio, a header. And a mix of original/scraped tweets. It'll take me 2-3 hrs to make sure all of my pages are set for the next 3 days with tweets, because a lot of them tweet a mixture of pics and text. So that's been the most frustrating thing so far, especially when you're over 10 pages.
I'm finding it difficult to spend enough time on this when I have a girlfriend, work, college, and other things to do. But I understand the possibilities and doors that could open from undertaking this project. Wizard might've made it look easy, but if you read through those pages it was months and months and months of work. A year of work. You definitely need to go out for a drink (or smoke it down if thats what you're into) when you tackle a project like this. Not a day goes by where I'm not thinking about this, no more than a few hrs go by until I'm tempted to check on the software to make sure its running correctly, etc etc.
But at this rate I'm making really good progress. I started my journey a year from the day Wizard did and thanks to reading his experience I'm on par with where he was this time last year, or even further. He gained 4k in a week I gained roughly 3k. The difference is, 3-4 days into his project he was already running 15 pages, 3-4 days into my project I was only running 7 pages. I added 3 pages a few days ago and 2 more yesterday so I'm up to 12 pages. I'll update tonight with the latest numbers but I just wanted to take this post to shed some light on how this has been playing out and also to thank Wizard again for the insight and inspiration.
Day 1: 15,221
Day 7: 18,000~(+2800~)
(Haven't counted my followers today so 18,000 is a rough estimate. Should go up by a couple hundred by tonight)
