Dutchie's Twitter Journey

Update:

Yesterday's Followers: 16,249
Today's Followers: 16,757(+508)

Again beating yesterday's records. I didn't see myself getting 500+ followers for another day or two, so this is a small satisfying win for me. I didn't do much today as far as the software goes either. I was creating original tweets and scraping pics from authority niche accounts late last night. It's the most annoying, time consuming thing there is. But my accounts are now good to go for the next 2-3 days as far as tweets go. I still have 10 accounts. I'll probably add 3 more accounts tomorrow or Monday. By next Friday I expect to have 9 more pages(for a total of 19) and I expect to be gaining 1,000+ followers daily at this rate.

I have no idea what I'll do to monetize the pages but plans for monetization are a good month or 2 away.

What is your niche?

No niche. I take my time building every single page and they're all different niches. Cooking, sports, comedy, relationships, etc etc

Several ideas:
1) Amazon affiliate: you tweet amazon products related to your niche with your affiliate link
2) you tweet CPA offers. try shareasale: they have a LOT of offers.
3) Mylikes/Skylikes : you tweet links of articles related to your niches. Cons: it doesn't pay very well

1) wouldn't amazon be suspicious seeing all your twitter accounts as REFERER? (just a question)
3) be careful, most people here say that twitter quickly bans accounts tweeting links to mylikes

Of course, you have to be careful with:
- Amazon: you MUST NOT send too much junk traffic. But you can use twitter (you can even make custom tweets with custom links, when you are an affiliate)
- Mylikes: twitter bans and hates Mylikes, that's a fact. So, you must hide Mylikes links ...

I've made a good amount of money with MyLikes years and years ago. When they paid well. Not sure if I'm interested in MyLikes

they used to pay 5-25cents a click. idk about slaving for 1 cent a click

I didn't even follow today. Those are all the followers gained between last night and this night. I'm assuming some of those followers are people I followed 2-3 days ago too, just getting online and deciding to follow my pages. I'm currently unfollowing on all of my accounts except the 3 newest ones. Gotta fix those ratios ya know? Plan to follow on all my pages tomorrow

I haven't followed at all today or yesterday. It's good to know I'm gaining followers from these 4-5 days in a row of following. I'd recommend against running following campaigns for 4-5 days in a row though. I'm unfollowing and its taking me 2 days to completely unfollow everyone. I wasted an entire day unfollowing when I could've been following and gaining on my pages. The reason being is many of my pages have 3,000+ people to unfollow. Some have to unfollow 5,000. That takes a while unless you put virtually no delays between unfollows and automation. But I don't want to take that chance. I'll definitely start following tomorrow though and I'll be adding 3 pages sometime tonight or tomorrow. Depends on if I have time today.

TLDR; Unfollow every 2 days to save yourself a day. If you unfollow every 4-5 days you'll take 2 days to unfollow. But following for those 4-5 days is the reason I'm still gaining 100's of followers without following 2 days straight.

WEEK ONE SUMMARY:

This is definitely more work than you think it is at first. Its so smooth when you're running 5-10 pages but once you're up to 10+ pages it gets annoying scraping and creating tweets for all these accounts. I'm not just making pages to get traffic. I'm treating each page like my baby.. With a profile pic, a bio, a header. And a mix of original/scraped tweets. It'll take me 2-3 hrs to make sure all of my pages are set for the next 3 days with tweets, because a lot of them tweet a mixture of pics and text. So that's been the most frustrating thing so far, especially when you're over 10 pages.

I'm finding it difficult to spend enough time on this when I have a girlfriend, work, college, and other things to do. But I understand the possibilities and doors that could open from undertaking this project. Wizard might've made it look easy, but if you read through those pages it was months and months and months of work. A year of work. You definitely need to go out for a drink (or smoke it down if thats what you're into) when you tackle a project like this. Not a day goes by where I'm not thinking about this, no more than a few hrs go by until I'm tempted to check on the software to make sure its running correctly, etc etc.

But at this rate I'm making really good progress. I started my journey a year from the day Wizard did and thanks to reading his experience I'm on par with where he was this time last year, or even further. He gained 4k in a week I gained roughly 3k. The difference is, 3-4 days into his project he was already running 15 pages, 3-4 days into my project I was only running 7 pages. I added 3 pages a few days ago and 2 more yesterday so I'm up to 12 pages. I'll update tonight with the latest numbers but I just wanted to take this post to shed some light on how this has been playing out and also to thank Wizard again for the insight and inspiration.

Day 1: 15,221
Day 7: 18,000~(+2800~)

(Haven't counted my followers today so 18,000 is a rough estimate. Should go up by a couple hundred by tonight)

I realize the only way to do this is to go full steam...So I plan on adding at least 9 more accounts in the next 3 days if I have the time. When I'm able to get 20ish accounts on autopilot easily, I'll probably upgrade my proxy plan and run like 40-50 pages. I'm gonna keep adding accounts until my VPS can't handle it, then upgrade to a stronger VPS, then try to run 50+ pages, etc etc. This probably won't happen in these first few months but I'm trying to think way ahead as Wizard already set the bar and dropped a ton of gems in his journey thread. So I can't just let that information go in one ear and out the other so to speak

I'll update this post with the followers gained between yesterday and today. The bot successfully reached all its follow limits on all accounts yesterday so it'd be interesting to see today's results.

UPDATE

Yesterday's Followers: 18,225
Today's Followers: 19,165(+940) *NEW RECORD*

Updating with the followers like I said I would. Don't want to make another post and spam my own thread. Another record as you can see. Definitely because I went from 10 to 12 pages. By Friday I expect to be gaining 1,000+ daily and in 2 weeks I don't see why I wouldn't gain 1500ish daily. Nobody said it'd be easy but its nice to see your hard work paying off!

I plan on going to bed early today. I've been so busy with life and I've only been running the software for about 2 hrs. I know if I wait another 3-4 hrs to update the thread I'll have a way better follower gain. I really should find a consistent time to post the update every day. But I feel pretty shitty today so consider this half-assed update my stats for the day. I probably won't run the following campaign at all tomorrow and then unfollow on Saturday.

Yesterday's Followers: 19,165
Today's Followers: 19,690(+525)

It's been a long day so here's a late update for you guys. I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to 'max out' my effort. But here's what I have planned for the coming days. I really need to pick up the slack

1) Double my proxies from 5 to 10 (I started with 5 because I had no ideas what proxies, VPS, etc were. Now I need a ton of them)
2) Add 12 more pages in the next 7 days
3) Gain 2,000+ consistently daily

Those are my goals, & in that order. As for my followers update. Its gonna be higher than its ever been..but keep in mind this update is coming 4-5 hrs after it usually does. So that's what I'm attributing that to.

Yesterday's Followers: 19,690
Today's Followers: 20,710(+1,020) *NEW RECORD*

Here's an update for today. It's coming early since I don't have much to do because I'm unfollowing on my pages.

Yesterday's Followers: 20,710
Today's Followers: 21,000~(+300~)

Since I'm unfollowing today this gave me a chance to create new pages. I added 2 more pages and hopefully I'll add 2 more tomorrow since I should still be unfollowing. I plan to open a new project in FL with another batch of accounts so that I always have pages following even when other pages are unfollowing

Still unfollowing today so I don't really have much to update. I did manage to add 2 more pages and now that I'm doubling up on proxies I plan to start a new FL project so that I can run 2 instances of the software simultaneously and double my results.

These are estimates:

Yesterday's Followers: 21,000~
Today's Followers: 21,450~(+450~)

It's good to know I'm still gaining when I've been unfollowing WITHOUT following for 2 days straight. It's so much work to tweet from 16 accounts so I found myself deleting the accounts tweets and recycling ones I already posted. Not like it matters when most of my accounts have below 500 followers anyway. Another thing is, most of my pages don't follow more than 350-450/day. I'll probably push some of those pages to follow 550-650/day sometime soon as it'll definitely boost my results and shorten the process it takes to get each page to 1k followers. Some of my pages have been stuck at 200-300 followers for over a week now because they start from scratch and only gain 15-30 followers daily.

Wow, dude you're making some good progress.

I'm doing a similar project with Twitter, but not getting near the results you are getting. I'll have to go back and check my settings.

I dont think it's so much the settings. I think it's how/who you follow from. I'm following off of users, not keywords. And I'm making sure I follow users that have tweeted in the last 14 days so I have a better chance at following active people. At the same time, I'm making sure I don't follow off of 'A-list' authority pages.

For example; if I was targeting a sports fanbase I wouldn't follow off of ESPN's page. They follow 300 people with 25 million followers. That's definitely the group of people you want following you, but there's a very small chance they'll follow back. A smaller sports page that's following 1,000 and has 10,000 followers has users that are much more likely to follow back imo

Yesterday's Followers: 21,450~
Today's Followers: 22,000~(+550~)

I'm actually very disappointed in these numbers because I ran the follow campaign all day. However, when I woke up, some of my pages were still unfollowing. & I haven't tweeted on most pages for 2-5 days. So I attribute this small gain to me losing followers from unfollowing and from me barely gaining due to barely tweeting. As aggressive as I was following, I was hoping for at least 750 followers today. Really hope I get better numbers tomorrow. I'll make it a point to tweet on my pages.

WEEK TWO SUMMARY:

Day 7: 18,000~(+2,800~)
Day 14:
23,000~(+5,000~)

Went up almost 1,000 followers between yesterday and today! 22,991 followers is what I have exactly. I estimated up because I'm THAT close to 23,000. Loving my progress from Week 1 to Week 2
:D. I was scared I'd barely pass my Week 1 progress but I'm happy to see my work paying off. What did I do differently this week? I added 6 pages. That definitely had EVERYTHING to do with these results! One drawback of scaling up: It's painstaking to update tweets on my account. I ended up going 3-5 days without tweeting on most of my pages which scared me because I was tweeting daily on them last week. All pages combined I have about 200 tweets and around 100 images I personally chose from the internet, so around 300 tweets. Those 300 tweets disappear in a matter of a week when you have 16 pages tweeting 2-3 times daily! I had to log into every account manually and delete their tweets so I could recycle them. Even typed up 50+ more original ones today. I'm seriously considering hiring a VA when I up this project 30+ accounts. I'm very meticulous about what my pages tweet out. I don't use the Scrape Tweet feature of FL. I honestly can't imagine how time consuming and annoying this'll become when I'll be creating and taking 500+ tweets and 200+ images

I'm planning on monetizing the pages but not until I at least hit 100,000 followers total. At the rate that I'm adding pages I honestly plan to be at 100k by the middle or end of May.
Stay tuned!

Goals for next week:

- Add another 6 pages
- Make each account set for 2 weeks of tweeting (most challenging thing imo)
- Go up by at least 7,500 followers
