Have you ever ranked with fully or slightly duplicate content? Or duplicate content may bring penalty for the website or specific pages? Any experience on this?

Yes, Low Quality/Duplicate Content can lead to Thin Content Penalty!

But again, this penalty is quite rare compared to other google penalty.

I've ranked with this:
  1. First half of the page: Duplicate content verbatim
  2. Second half of the page: The same content run through a content spinner. If you want to be sneakier/black-hat-ier, you can hide this part under another element or make the text white or whatever.
You can also rank fairly easily like this (essentially syndicated content):
  1. Original intro of about one paragraph - approx 100 words or so. Ex: "I ran into this article on [subject]. The info about [blah blah] would be useful to [blah blah]. Here's the article:"
  2. The duplicate content verbatim
  3. Original conclusion. Similar to the intro in concept.

Am I the only one having Deja Vu!

Make the unique content.that will be always good.copied content is will always be a danger to your site's quality

Duplicated content is often not manipulative and is commonplace on many websites and often free from malicious intent. Copied content can often be penalized algorithmically or manually. Duplicate content is not penalized, but this is often not an optimal set-up for pages, either. Be careful ‘spinning’ text to make it unique.

It depends on the nature of your site. If you run a press release site or a quotations site, a high level of duplicate content is expected.

Duplicate content used to work marvelously in the past. Then duplicate content + mass letter replace (jumbled letters like | = L ), those used to work well. But it looks like in the long run, the search engine will wisen up, and get those rubbish content out in the end. In the end, those well written articles that have traffic became the winner.

There's no penalty for duplicate content but it may affect your rankings. Much better to rephrase those exact matches and check in Copyscape.

yes you can rank with dup content, the duplicate content penalty is a myth even google said so (not that you can trust what they say, but oh well...).
also don't worry about copyscape it has no effect whatsoever on ranking. the tool is only used for copyright issues, not for SEO! it is often just used by sellers of cheap SEO services as argument to make it sound better to noobs, but it has no meaning if it comes to search engines.
