Yep. What do you want to know? And, adult SEO seems like other animal. More tolerance towards black hat techs. Or google just don't care at all.

Duplicate content affects the ranking of the site. It confuses the google and forces search engine to choose the same pages it should rank in the top results.If you have original content, someone use your content without your consent. Because of this identical content, search engine doesn't get you. So more scarpers will affect your site.

Didn't mean it that way at all, just wanted to know if you've seen any significant result ranking pages just rewriting the first paragraph!
 
of course It will affect your keyword rank and Site authority drastically..

Yes! Specially long content: over 1500 words. I change H2 and H30 also. Outranking big sugar babies sites duplicating their content just rewriting a couple of paragraphs.

Duplicate content is literally the easiest thing in the world to test. It is easier to test than spun content. (Which also works)

eCommerce stores will rank with product descriptions that are exactly the same.

Search for any SERVICE in CITY and the site will use the same content for multiple cities. The only change will be the name of the city.

Safe! Better if you build a lot of links. Ain't 30 ways to let's say... refer to auto shop repair 247. KW are the same. I'm ranking #1 #2 and #3 for local auto shop (tyres and batteries plus other electronic issues) I'm posting 3 times a week and I don't know what else or more I can approach. Everything has been written. My job now is to keep link building and SM to keep my positions. Maybe I will write something like: how to request auto shop repair at Rancho Pacoima and not get robbed ;)

That's insane! Thanks for sharing, I'm running a journey right now growing my site, but I'll try it later on for sure :)

I have a 2nd site, I generated 25k pages, each page targeting generic keyword, like "what to do with x", "how to use x".. Same text on all pages except I'm only changing the x.
The least I can say is that it's going pretty good atm, will share the complete story about this site in a few months if it's still going well.

Content is most important thing in seo and u shouldnt use duplicate contents
 
Duplicate content will affect the complete page and the keywords which you are tried to optimize already. Use unique contents and some special media displays like images, videos, motion pics, infographic etc along with the content.
 
Yes, it effects seo. Never use duplicate content for your money site.
 
There will be confusion evolves in Google if there is a duplicate contents.
The present of duplicate contents forces the search engine to choose which of the identical content it should rank first.
So, the present of duplicate contents is always bad for SEO.
 
normally its not a problem and you can even rank duplicate content. people who claim otherwise simply have no idea what they are talking about.
even google says its not a problem and the ex-head of web spam matt cutts answered this question almost a decade ago already, let me quote:

"Matt said that somewhere between 25% to 30% of the content on the web is duplicative. Of all the web pages and content across the internet, over one-quarter of it is repetitive or duplicative. But Cutts says you don't have to worry about it. Google doesn't treat duplicate content as spam. "
 
I seem to remember that Google officially said that there is no duplicate content penalty.
But obviously they wouldn't want to serve their users the same content multiple times in one set of search results. Therefore they most likely will show that content only once, probably on the site where it turned up first or possibly on the site with more authority. That may look and feel like a penalty, but it actually isn't. It's just good sense on Google's part.
