dumb Amazon affiliate question

hi all,

sorry if this is a dumb question. I have googled it but can't seem to find an answer. Basically what I want to know is how long on average it takes for Amazon to show an affiliate order on Amazon.Com reporting. I am just looking for finding out if an order has been placed that day.

According to Amazon it is 'instant' if i filter for the current day but when i do this i don't see anything.

I have tried it in the UK and it took 5 hours for the order to show up after it was placed.

At the moment all my amazon.com USA orders seem to be bunched up and all show at 10pm PST.

I know the answer is probably 'depends' but wondering what peoples experiences have been?

As it said if you set the filter to show the "today" results the sold items are showed almost instant (max 10min difference).
If you don't see anything most probably you haven't sold any item yet

you will see it almost instantly, and that's not a dumb question.

thanks both for the quick answers. It must mean that I must be selling items late at night. I am in the UK so I have no orders when I go to bed but around 5am UK time I have a pile of orders. Thats good actually because it means I can now target my traffic to suit the later hours. I
