Any thoughts as to what you have used and like?
As par as I know Canon 80D And Nikon D5300 are best suitable for outdoor photo shoots.Any thoughts as to what you have used and like?
Hell yeah, I wish I could buy a hasselblad dslr haha. Even the entry model would suffice. Anyone wants to gift me one (j/k)?
I used this one years ago to shoot weddings and social events. I can't say it ever gave me any issues and I found it easy to handle.
Nailed it, but 35mm + body would probably exceed the budget lol. 50mm + body should come within budget.Lens is more important than the body. Look for a better lens. DSLRs are usually sold with 18-55mm lens which is not very good. 35mm 1.8 would be a good choice for all around shooting.
Yeah, but it has it's problem. Not only lumix, but any mirrorless dslr for that matter. Plus, they cost much more. Not really $500, as you probably know already. The panasonic lumix g7. It's mirrorless but its a great camera for the price.

Haha, then 35mm for sure.. It's a good general purpose lens..I'll go over budget for her; I'm a cheapskate at heart but I love my wife more than I love my wallet.

The body is just a beginning of drainage of money. How much do their lenses cost? Prime lenses? Tele zooms? Macro lenses? Do they have adaptors for my existing lenses? What are you talking about?
