I think they open a realm of creativity. But I am against abusing.

I think they're for mugs, and i also think you either have too much money or too much time on your hands to make this thread!!.

For the dumb, the dumb-fucks, the weak, the weak-willed, the mental-ill, the socilal misfits, and on an on and on, the list will be bigger than any ping list on this site.

Drugs, in my opinion, are harmful not only to the person using them but to the community. Not good at all.

Drugs are not cool, anyone who uses drugs to be cool is a fuckhead.
I smoke a few big ones everyday and I don't think it's cool,it's just hard to quit once you use it everyday so when u use drugs, use them wisely.

Drugs I hate drugs....in fact I am about to kill my husband because he keeps coming home stoned out of his mind, he smells like pot and then he denies it. I even found this cigarette pack in his card that smelled like weed, he says it must be from his friend :zx11pisse:zx11pisse What makes it worse is I know all of the lies and "tricks" so it is so hard to tell me you are not smoking pot when I know you are (I was a pot head in high school).

Here is a biochemical fact:

In a single moment, amazing extremes of ecstatic exhileration and pleasure can be experienced under combinations of various drugs, both man made and natural. In terms of the magnitude of pleasure and fun, these experiences, for that moment, far outstrip anything experienced without said drugs in a single moment. Drugs act on pleasure centres so if you get good stuff and know what youre doing, you will have a fantastic time on drugs in the short term. (I am talking about MDMA, 2CB, cocaine, heroin etc.)

In the long term, however, they are pretty terrible. There is a serious price to pay for the fun. If you find something that feels good youre gonna want to do it again and again - unfortunately, drugs dont respond well to this treatment because they are expensive, unhealthy, and time-consuming to use.

One of the main problems with drugs is that they interfere with the users ability to create income.

Then, of course, there is the emotional/brain damage and all the other issues.

So, my verdict on drugs..

Long term: Hell no

Short term: F*ck yeah!

Ps - I have no patience with those who say a drug is ok or not ok because it's "natural" or man made. To generalise in this way is to exhibit utter, groundless stupidity.

marijuana is a plant, not a drug. nay for drugs. yay for marijuana

also, for anyone that tries to give me a descrition like such -> "A drug, broadly speaking, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function" is dumb. under that definition those delicious hot wings are drugs because they make ur mouth and eyes water. and that huge steak you had last night gave you some pretty bad gas right? i know that 18 ounce prime rib i ate last night is rumbling down there

Dumbass. Can't stand the way some pot smokers try desperately to justify that their habit is better than others by saying this.

Marijuana, aka THC, is a drug like any other, and it just so happens that we found it in nature rather than synthesised it ourselves. The fact that it is in a plant makes no difference whatsoever.

Drugs aren't cool at all. But I believe at least on some level to the point where you're under control (and yes, people... You can be under control of any drug if you're not stupid, which personally, I find most aren't) it's your body and one shall do to ones body whatever one wants.

There is an obvious difference between different "drugs".

Drugs to me are:
Amphetamine
Phencyclidine (PCP)
Heroin
Cocaine (This of course includes crack)
MDMA (Extacy)
Tobacco
Alcohol

Drugs that personally that I find acceptable (AKA, OK):

Cannabis (Marijuana for the people who hate it but don't know why and don't know it's actual name)
Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) (moderate and smart usage, which is pretty easy to do as it is non-addictive)
Salvia Divinorum
Dimethyltryptamine (DMT)

There's more, I find those to be quite healing, just fine in my book.

Of course I'm sure I'll hear something along the lines: "Well my cousins uncles sister that I think I kinda knew died because his father's son said that he took too many drops of acid!!!1"

Just because someone abused something that is illegal doesn't mean shit, you can abuse cake too, I can tell you it will kill you faster than anything I listed under my "OK list".

But debating opinions, you'll never get anywhere doing that.

EDIT:

Also, notice the pattern in the lists I made. The first one obviously shows the drugs that kill people and have been CONFIRMED to kill people and actually RUIN lives.

Second list... No reported deaths, although I could be wrong with LSD, after all people ARE stupid.
Also, only way those will ruin lives if your a moron or you get caught.

hey dumbass. i aint a pot smoker, unless you consider once every 2-3 months a pot smoker. imho pots better then mcdonalds... that shits synthesized!

lets use fast food restaurants here. pot is like chick fil a, and other drugs are like mcdonalds and burger king. mcdonalds and burger king will kill you. chick fil a wont because it is o so good and real chicken

There's still the argument that something from a plant is better than man made chemical crap made in a dingy lab somewhere. It isn't just desperate justification, there is a whole world of difference between enjoying a nice reefer and getting off your brains on manufactured stuff.

I enjoy a smoke, it's very relaxing and a good way to unwind. As for anything else I'm not interested. Coke turns people into arrogant so and sos who think they're the bees knees cos they can put a bit of white powder up their noses. Pills, yeah you have a good time but you're gurning like the biggest fool ever although it doesn't matter even if people are laughing with you you'll still love them for doing that. As for the mad mental other things you can take - why would you do that to yourself unless you're on a one way trip to self destruction?

lol I was thinking what realm of reality would a casual crack head be in? soo sorry lol you made me think and laugh at the same time which made my head hurt like a brain freeze with icecream involved ????? :o

anything and everything is ok in moderation, especially if its naturally grown on this planet, what should be illegal and bad is all the prescription drugs they sell us wich is killing us, that should be banned, but any plant that is grown is fine, law of the land ya know

lol @ the people bashing marijuana in this thread. There IS a difference between man made and natural so the only ignorance here is your way of thinking. I understand restrictions on things like cocaine, heroin, etc...because they are made of horrible shit. I can go to jail for smoking a plant, but I can drink alcohol until I can't even function without any repercussions. It's ridiculous.

I began using drugs at a young age and I have had countless amazing experiences with very little or none negative effects.

Alcohol (conveniently ignored by drug-bashers) has given me wonderful nights of reckless abandon (of course I always kept my wits more or less... never one to drink and drive), grinning, laughing, dancing, flying free into the night.

Cannabis came next... oh how I loved pot! I can't tell you how much introspection and connection with myself Cannabis has catalyzed. I learned how to laugh with Cannabis. I learned how to reflect. I learned how to sit still and listen. I learned how our brains make everything banal and that the present moment and everything contained in it is beautiful.

Entheogens like LSD, Psilocybin mushr00ms (there's a wordfilter in place... don't know why), Salvia, and countless others are really amazing things. All one has to do is read some of the reports on Erowid to see that they can really open the mind, to use an old cliche. They act in mysterious ways and can bring about amazing understanding, healing, connection (with oneself or with others), and love. They should be used with respect as they are very powerful.

Every other drug I've done like cocaine or opiates were fun while they lasted but they're temporary body highs. Nothing too interesting so I don't bother with them.

Drugs are good... but they, like many things, can be misused and abused. You have to treat all drugs with respect and with an attitude of exploration, humility, lightness, and healthy fear of abuse. I have used many, many drugs, many, many times, and I find myself to be all the better for it in very significant ways. Mushr00ms, for ex., helped me with a much-needed hard shove into reflecting on my behavior.. essentially, they blew open my empathy pathways and because of them, I am the very sensitive and caring person I am today.

I should be able to control what goes into my body. Whether it be poison or vitamin, the government should have no say. When the government spreads anti-drug propaganda and restricts access to real knowledge about drugs, a taboo is created and as humans we are attracted to taboo. Prohibition doesn't work. It's not working now and it didn't work with alcohol prohibition. It creates the black market and violence. We need reliable information so when people choose to use drugs (and they always will) they can use them safely.

In reference to the posts about natural vs. unnatural drugs... well it all seems rather ridiculous to me. Consider Jimsonweed... that's one of the nastiest drugs out there, but it's natural. Don't revert to easy blanket thinking... judge each drugs on its own.

I should explain.. I believe (for the moment) that 'natural' drugs are the chemicals that have formed over the millennia and just so happen to have a real effect on our brain. Ie out of the millions of chemicals on earth, some of them are bound to affect the brain somehow, by, for ex., mimicking a neurotransmitter. In that view, natural or unnatural has no bearing.
