I think he is referring to a new account as a child ( one acc he may test stuff on , not his main acc )

You should definitely be able to get at least some sales if the product and post images are good enough. Perhaps consider ordering the product and creating the photos yourself.

Is instagram still viable for this smaller group?

nintendo niche in particular.
I did a jv a while ago with another person here on BHW and he seemed either unable to get traffic or that the niche was too small?

I think it's still possible, there's def a huge demegraphic of people in that niche. You just need to target and use the limited daily actions effectively!

When using an influencer method as such, is it necessary to have an instagram page for your brand/product, or do you just have the influencers link to your shop in their advertisement? And if an instagram page is necessary, what should be an ideal amount of followers and what would be the ideal method of achieving this follower count (paid followers, organic, etc.)?
