I’m currently exploring LinkedIn Ads more seriously for B2B client acquisition and wanted to hear some thoughts from those of you actively running campaigns.

It’s definitely a promising platform for targeting decision-makers, but I’m looking to refine my strategy and would love to get your insights on:
  • What ad types are performing best for you (Lead Gen Forms, Message Ads, website traffic, etc.)?
  • What kind of hooks or offers are working well to drive quality leads?
  • How’s your average Cost per Lead (CPL) looking in your campaigns along with T-1 location?
  • Any mistakes or key learnings you can share to avoid wasted budget?
Thanks in advance!

Got friends who run ads for their b2b fintech service on Linkedin, and
-- LeadGen form worked best, that one in the linkedin itself
-- CPL (per qualified lead) was $300-350 at the lowest, but LTV at b2b fintech s much more, so they were OK with that
If counting the leads who filled in the form the CPL was much lower, but not all the leads eventually qualified as guys have quite a narrow niche
-- As for the offers, their value proposition reffered on how they impact their clients' business eg hot the turnover grows, how the conversion grows
Overall, if your client does not bring you thousands, just don't try linkedin ads, it's tought, its pricey and with all that recent account bans and restrictions I wont recommend it

Interesting, I want to try LinkedIn Ads as well. But I am only trying because the ticket price for my service is in the 10s of thousands (Advisory, Research etc) . Plus, I am in a twelfth world country so am thinking my CPL will be way less than in Los Angeles. I will share details from my experience later on, here.
