Hello:

Spending a good chunk of time today researching the pros/cons of drop shipping vs. affiliate marketing programs (including Shopify vs. Woocommerce), and here's what it looks like to me (and please let me know if I'm missing something here?)

1. The inventory I'm seeing with drop ship suppliers (ala AliExpress) are pretty lame, no-name brand knockoff stuff that I wouldn't bother offering - I doubt any upscale clients would be interested in that stuff. I've attached their selection of "food processors" (no Cuisinarts etc. to be found).

2. Obviously an affiliate marketing account with Amazon.com means access to their massive choices of inventory, but you can't set your own prices, they pay no more than 10% commission, and I think it takes 90 days to get paid from them?

So if you have any suggestions for a drop shipper with quality/name products, I would love to hear about that. THANK YOU

If you want to make active high profit then dropshipping is good, but if your source of traffic is passive (e.g. seo) and you want to make passive income the affiliate marketing
