I am still suffering from servinio's bad service, I want to go with a reputable company this time which has been in market for a longtime.
How is the dreamhost ? Pcmag ranks them the best but they are bit expensive as I am looking to only host 2-3 domains (Wordpress). Hostwinds seems to be affordable but I am not sure about their performance. What about bluehost ? they also seem expensive though.

Which one would you recommend as I want something affordable as I am only going to host 2-3 small wordpress sites.

Thanks

Why dont you try media temple as I have heard they have nice WP hosting server.

I want to go with well known names because last time I went something similar (Servinio) and I have incurred a big lose (Time and money). So looking to buy from these options.

from my experience, you can't go wrong with bluehost. + the support is excellent

I switched from hostgator to Hostwinds and I am very glad I did. They have great customer service. I am really happy with them.

I recently moved to PowerUpHosting and so far it looks like you can't go wrong with them.

I have an account with Powerup as well and love the quality as well as the service.

If you want to get WP VPS then go with Bluehost.
If you want share hosting then go with Hostwinds.

BlueHost has been excellent for me, support is great and someone is always there to help you out

For affordability, performance and good customer service i would recommend hostwinds

Out of those, hostwinds. Other recommendations - host-stage and also A2 hosting are both very good.

Out of the options you posted in the thread, hostwinds is the best. Poweruphosting is good too. If you need something cheap for around $12/year (10 domains) with a good reputation, then PM me. :)

I could see that all the three hosting providers share almost similar kind of rating. But live chat support is provided in hostwinds and bluehost. Such kind of 24/7 chat support should be looked bfore you go for an hosting.

Damn, some of you have been very lucky with Bluehost. My experience with them was horrible. SLOW on both ends (Hosting & Customer Service). I couldn't even do an addon domain for 3 days and customer service was incredibly slow. Waited atleast 30 mins each time (phone or chat), and they were NOT helpful at all, all giving the same answers. "It should work in 2 hours (by 4 customer rep). 3 days later, still not working. So I went 3 days without the ability to do any work.
