I'm in this IM field for about 2 years now, seen many amazing Journeys and finally i am Starting My own thread on my way of Building a Amazon+ Adsense Monetized site. I wish all will Give Full Support and Suggestions to this Still Growing "Small baby ":).... I actually started this today Morning ....and let me Begin with saying what i did ....

March 7 ( cool date to start though my lucky number)
#Bought a dot com domain
#Setup Hosting ( free host for now, not that free but amazingly fast )
#Installed WP
#Installed some basic and Worth Benefit plugins Will Uncover the List soon
#Created Categories and Tags ( no pages or Posts yet )
#Installed Super CTR theme ( Authority too ) :p

Just remembered of Exams and paused the Business ... will restart tomorrow

DAY 2

Im now getting support from you incredible guys

# made abt 10 post using amazon content.....
# added categories and subs
#inputted adsense.... codes
# submitted sitemap to webmaster tools
#setup analytics

Keep at it, more people will come with the more you do, don't let the amount of people who follow your thread have any impact on the amount of work you do, good luck.

Yes its really started from scratch and my niche is watches
 
DAY 2 ends ( on bed)

# made about 25 post exactly via amazon ...... used desc as content using my auto plugin
# from that filtered to 15 posts
# I actually binded 2 or three short posts.... and gave them a nice catchy title that people might search .. like best brand watces and so on..... related to my niche
# created and included sub cats and tags
# at the moment I have 15 posts and a about page
 
Are you copy+pasting descriptions straight from amazon ?

This type of sites do not last very long nowadays and it's not the way to go for an authority site. Authority sites require unique content and lots of it, copypasted amazon descriptions will sadly not cut it. Think long-term and start doing things right straight from the beginning.

Im actually scrapping it and rewriting ...... giving good titles.............. bcoz of my niche i think I cant go for long articles .... watches is my niche.....
 
I've been down this exact same path and I can say that the other end of the tunnel is a nice one :)

Also, keep at it. The entire key to success is to actually DO something. So you've taken the first step and are now likely ahead of the thousands of lurkers here that read and don't actually do anything!

#make a scoop it
#a twitter
#again filter and organise articles
