They are very safe as far as Wordpress goes. You would be surprised how many plugins and themes popup on VT scans, not because of malware planted, but due to false positives or security vulnerabilities that need to be patched. I've seen it with YOAST, obfuscated JS code from devs trying to get cute, and even old polyfill JS that used to point to a domain that expired and a hacker purchased and injected their own malware instead of the polyfill code.

Ok thanks for the answer. Another thing: most people use wp rocket - and the plugin is working fine. But if i check with query monitor the amount of requests .. its just crazy and reduces the server speed... for example: 28 update requests for (wp_rocket_no-licence) within a short time! Just dafag?

I just updated weLaunch and it should bypass all license requests.would be nice to have an update of the "weLaunch Framework" plugin.
4 years old ... it still does emulate licenses for other plugins ... but it also fills the logs with soo(...)oo many errors
Or better, to have the other plugins not needing it at all
