It really depends on how you see organic traffic, you still have to invest either a lot of time into organic traffic, or a good bit of money.

This is how a normal person thinks. I have had free advertising from Facebook, now I need to pay a little but I will still see returns on paying.

Here is how a child sees it. Fuck you Facebook I am leaving, that will teach you to mess with big hard me.

Ah typical response from a typical kid with a huge chip on his shoulder. Do yourself a favour, go grow up a little then start again.

Ofcourse you need to. No one is denying that fact. Ranking a site is not luck at-least... Still.. It's not direct paid traffic and if you know how to rank, you can do everything yourself afterall.

I made the OP to tell other people who might not know, that's it. My frustration is completely valid and obviously I don't think Facebook cares about me, but they should care about all advertisers not just the big ones.

So you're saying that because a person was seeing a profit from free traffic, that automatically means they will still make a profit while paying for that same traffic, minus the expenses? Some profit margins are very slim and are only worth the time of a small advertiser if the traffic comes at no expense other than the time spent making it happen. But a big baller like you wouldn't know the likes of small margins, I'm sure.

You can stop repeating the teenager thing too cause it's far from the truth. Anyway I'm done talking to your stupid ass cause I have money to make. You have yourself a great day.

There's nothing to get around, you either pay for exposure or you don't get any. I don't want to pay for organic exposure I should be getting for free, I want to pay for EXTRA exposure on top of what I'm already getting to increase my overall reach. Perhaps you're unfamiliar with a company called Google, who makes billions of dollars a year using this business model, along with every other social media site besides Facebook.

And clearly my problem is that I was making money and now I'm not. I guess I was too thick to include the obvious details that people who are able to tie their own shoes can easily understand on their own. My apologies for not including you in the conversation.

It's not though. But then again the only traffic from Facebook, comes from Pages as you have said. and NOT HQ fake accounts, apps and groups but keep up with your simple minded, patronising posts.

I agree with you to an extent. For Facebook to start charging to reach your own followers seems to go against everything a social network should stand for. However, there's still cash to be had so people shouldn't just ignore Facebook because of these changes.
 
same thing happening with me, my reached are really low less then 1%. I am gonna try Twitter and see how it's work :)

FaceBook is doing what serious business would do. They are charging for access to their data. You chose to use their platform.
Your customers use their platform.
Any serious business would have been measuring and analysing the data while it was available.
Right now people will be paying for access to it because it is worth it.

Why should you access their service for free, make good money from their platform and then complain when they start to charge for it?

FaceBook is not a charity. The only responsibility it has is to its shareholders.

I suggest anybody that is unhappy, starts to study any basic course on Business and Economics.

I have been getting increasing surprised at the lack of basic business knowledge recently.

And if you are thinking to move to any other platform (you should have been there already) they will all eventually adopt a similar model.

OP, if you are really unhappy then why not give your products away for free and show FB how it is done?

I hope that makes sense, everything is a little blurry.
 
Perhaps you should not fight on this. The whole point to me is about getting the "best" spending the "least". One even can't complain if google starts charging for the search results in future ( i see that happening pretty soon), but would you like it to be? I would not! In that case, I will simply shift to another search engine.

Same theory can be applied for facebook. It's not wrong to say that they are the "monopoly" in social networking. So they are making that to the fullest use. If all of the marketers feel facebook is doing something unfair, most of them would switch to another social platform ultimately.

Everyone should have their right to have a say. That's all it should be about I guess. If facebook goes away, footbook might be the next in thing... Facebook is making sure that this happens soon ^_^
