Don't use free proxies for private browsing

    i don't believe anyone would be stupid enough to log into their bank account with a public proxy...surely not

    Well, maybe I exaggerated it a bit. A more realistic example would be people trying to pass geolocation blocks (e.g. on Netflix or YouTube) to watch a movie/video. The consequences may be severe keeping in mind that a YouTube account is actually a Google account. So they can take control over one's email account as well.

    To be honest, nothing would surprise me in this world anymore.......natural selection should be playing a bigger part in the world than it is at the moment :D

    one would think it's common sense

    however i'm not sure how reliable is the proxy security checker tool in the OP, because i tried a few of my private proxies and the tool rated them more dangerous than the public proxies i tried

    The same thing happened to me, and it made me think a bit. My trust in my proxies is a little shaken.
