Well, maybe I exaggerated it a bit. A more realistic example would be people trying to pass geolocation blocks (e.g. on Netflix or YouTube) to watch a movie/video. The consequences may be severe keeping in mind that a YouTube account is actually a Google account. So they can take control over one's email account as well.

To be honest, nothing would surprise me in this world anymore.......natural selection should be playing a bigger part in the world than it is at the moment

one would think it's common sense

however i'm not sure how reliable is the proxy security checker tool in the OP, because i tried a few of my private proxies and the tool rated them more dangerous than the public proxies i tried

The same thing happened to me, and it made me think a bit. My trust in my proxies is a little shaken.
