Hey there,

I thought of sharing this with all of you. However, I know all of us aware of it but still sharing it. I was trying to get some links for one of my projects. I contacted a few sellers here, and they were selling some excellent links. And the price is way too high as well. But if we are counting is based on the metrics, they worth it. But when I checked the traffic stat there, I found the red flag.

So the two screenshots clearly showing that both sites got the penalty and never recovered. But still, people are selling links based on metrics like DR, Ref. domain, and all. I don't prefer to take a link from the penalized website. So please, before buying any links, please check the other metrics as well and see if it's worth taking the link or not.

It would be great if you out the sellers. This shouldn't be allowed to be sold.

I am not because they are selling the links based on the metrics only. They are providing exactly what they advertise. It's best to check from our end what we are getting. If it's PBN, then I am okay with it. But whenever I am buying a guest post, I would prefer to check it beforehand.

So basically you are saying I can spam domains to death get a penalty on them and sell em as HQ PBN cuz of the metrics?

@BassTrackerBoats pls investigate.

I like to see traffic as that’s a better understanding of the site, then backlink, then dr

Exactly and I did it as well. I got a few sites also which has 2-3k organic traffic based on AHREFS. But all-time data is showing that the previous traffic was like 20k-30k and called down to 2-3k. So still it's not a good sign for me.

Healthy traffic is paramount.

This always happen with folks working with fixed numbers of websites without outreaching for new opportunities.

I mean a vendor in partnership with Forbes, along the line they got hit - Vendors still sells for high price with value been depreciated.

The beauty is always reaching out for new opportunities, checking the website state -make sure they still retain value before any placement.

This is still a heathy website. There are ups and downs with SERP traffic on every updates. Doesn’t look like a total annihilation.

Nah, I am not saying it. Trust me, hardly you will get a legitimate guest post service now. Most of them are self-made PBN. Not all of the domains are crap as well. I asked for a list of the domain which has high DR. I got the list and whenever I checked the traffic stat, I got this. Seller provided exactly what I asked.

That's what I am doing. Best to do it by yourself or hire a VA to do it.

Not for me because the graph is downgraded. The site got penalties like 3-4 months ago and losing 70-80% traffic within this timeframe. It's keep getting down again based on AHREFS and Ubersuggest. I prefer to stay away from it.

Let me guess its a niche edit from a reputable member ahah.

I found a seller on here that resells 10$ Fiverr gigs for 180$ lol. The gig is actually being sold by my friend.

That’s correct
A downward slope is really not ideal for placements.

This could be as a result of running URLs on batch analysis for quick check without single handedly auditing each URL on final placements

Everyone is doing business. It's not about being reputed. Though I was trying to get a niche edit link.

It's a common scenario everywhere. You can't blame it because reselling is a part of the business.

Good point. You will get a clear idea about the whole website.

Re-selling is not allowed on BHW. Report the thread and write as much details as you can.

Sold by his FRIEND ! ;);)
The admins won’t be to settle the offline brouhaha.

Moreover, Snitches get stitches . LOL

If he has enough information to provide for this to be looked into, it would be fine.

The problems (for the buyers) coming from re-selling are way worse than the 'stitches' :)

I did, check my recent posts. :)
But did you report it using the report button?

I reported the message he sent me through PM, with evidence that it's being sold for $10 on Fiverr.

Definitely agree with traffic, people always disagree with DR or DA but I think traffic is a much better metric.
