Hi,

When I was analyzing backlink of one website in hardwood flooring niche, I found a website ranking on first page for many keywords, but website does not have any backlink or even domain is also not so old as compare to the competitor's websites. When I checked backlink through majestic SEO there showing only 3 root domain backlink, but the niche is not so low competitive that a website can rank with any good number of backlink, I am much familiar with this niche and I almost know all the competitor"s website in this niche which are ranking for good SEO profile, but this website is does not have any good SEO staff.

I even shocked that website is ranking for many keywords.

Can anyone please suggest me what they actually do to get ranking for different keyword.

I can not list the website over here, but if anyone can analyze then I can send the URL on PM.

Thanks

I think it is the content I do have a blogspot blog ranking 1st in 18 keywords and more on the first page. If you deliver the
reader what they search . it will be indexed indeed.
Buddy lets leave about content, I am not saying about blog, this a business website...and I know which type of content that site have...I am looking for some expert help here..

Sadly you are a new member and you can't send PM's . So your answer will remain unanswered.

He's using a pbn that's blocking you from seeing where the links are coming from and / or 301 redirects that are blocking you from seeing where the links are coming from. http://bit.ly/1oGnO6s

Exactly probably a combo of both. A couple of 301s and a good set of pbns can dominate any low competitive keyword.

how can a pbn block you from seeing where the link are? they're either there or they're not... can you shed some light on this as I'm a little curious.

Like Rua99 stated, it might have backlinks from pbn which disallow the backlink checkers to crawl. Also, they might have some good amount of social signals which plays good role in ranking new websites.

they block the spiders of sites like opensiteexplorer and majesticseo

Might be a brand new site and dancing.
I have a site recently sent live and only indexed yesterday. I have't done ANYTHING with it at all, no backlinks, no pinging, nada and it's on page 1 of Google for a couple of my chosen keywords.
It won't stay there, I know this but this is an example for you if the site is new.

It's a little magical thing called cloaking.

Thank you all of you for your replies. Well I do not think they are using any pnb strategy for ranking, but what I guess that they hide their backlinks from crawling by website like majestic seo.

They have been ranking for many keywords, even this website outrank very high authority website. I want to know what they have actually done to get such type of good ranking.

If history says anything, you probably just ruined that site owner's life

robots.txt and block crawlers from ahrefs, seomoz, etc...

ok, cloaking but if you do that will it still help with the SEO, as he said the site is ranking so it must get some juice from somewhere, does it pass through cloaked links?

I can not get you exactly what you want to say.

oh FFS, please remove the site owners link from the forum. if you dont understand what this means just put your site URL here and within days see a note on your webmaster tools.. comeon dude..seriously?? The challenge (whether its blackhat or white ) is in outsmarting and outdoing your competition not in making their life difficult for your own ineptness (did i coin a new word here..)

Basically, you just outed someones site and if he had found some super secret magical way of ranking you just killed it by posting his URL on here where MANY blackhat seo's will now try to work out what he is doing, replicate it and get it patched by Google so it no longer works.

Like I said, 2 posts above me need editing, yours and the one that quoted it...

As others have eluded to, the flaw in your belief is that you presume to know what backlinks that site has... perhaps you meant 'domain without backlinks visible in ahrefs or majestic is ranking on first page'.
