I bought an expired domain and paid to have the site recreated & the original urls is there suppose to be traffic already going to the site?

There's most probably going to be traffic already going to the site as the domain is old, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up about it being game-changing to be honest.

Have you asked the seller?

Most of the expired domains doesn't have much traffic.
