Main site brand is xxx HouseMove.com and I am setting up 10 city based websites e.g. NewYorkHouseMove.com but was thinking they keywords I am actually targeting are "Estate Agents" New York.

So should I register the new 10 cities domains as xxxHouseMove.com or EstateAgentsxxx.com ??

You could probably get a main hub domain than buy a few more to forward to your hub domain :3 so as to get more keywords.

Not too sure if this answers my questions, that is really should I get a domain with my keyword in it or a similar name, anyone ??

I'd personally go with the brand - establishing a brand is always a better call for a business.

yeah I'd go with branded if I were you. Google is claiming they will be cutting down on EMD's sometime before July 4th and Moz is reporting massive activity yesterday that they suspect is targeted at PMD.

Sure, there are still those who can get away with it but if you're anything less than above average at black hat I wouldn't play with fire.
