What's the best way to use extra domain names that I have picked up. I have an active domain with traffic ... say it's named football2015.com and I also have domains football2016.com, football2017.com, football2018.com that are not built, not active or have any content. Can I use he non active domains to help build page rank with the active domain or is it only good for a redirect to the active domain?

Thanks!

I presume that is only good for redirecting until you get content on these domain names.

It is waste of time, money to have those domains, just use one domain instead of years in domains.
PR will never updates so forget to have those PR and start concentrate to build on one domain.

you could load external pictures to your active site with <img src="football2018,com/pic,jpg">. or any other content really.
that way you'll get traffic to that site. not sure if its any good for ranking though..

I think you can redirect to the active domain until you get the content ready for the other domains... it will definitely pas the traffic to active domain... Later you can make the list of all year as history of football of each year. What do you think?

You could 301 them to your primary domain with content on them...then do some SEO link building tests and see if things improve or hurt your rankings. If the link building hurts your domain, you can turn the 301 off and the penalized site will not pass the negative juice to your primary domain.

Yes, I agree it is ok to just use one domain name than all those stuff posted here.

Redirecting is the best way but what i m thinking is after redirecting you cannot get PR's for inactive domains at the same time you will get some reputations for your active domain but soon build some content for inactive domains so you will get good surfers for all your domains sounds good?
