Domain availability

Hey BHW,

I've been looking for a new domain and today I stumbled upon something that seems a bit weird.
The domain I've been looking for is like this XXXXX.us , and I looked for it at 3 registrars. Two of them had it available (at different prices) but the last one stated that is Taken.

Why? How come that 2 registrars have it available and another doesn't?

Different registrars may have different cache for domains, this way they can reduce load on their resources.
I would suggest to check it on icann org, it should give you 100% fresh and actual data.
