Actually in a monthly basics i will prefer blog commenting for my site. And update my website blog regularly with unique content. And get more backlinks for inner pages by using PBN network. And get the high DA backlinks for my brand name and naked URL. And do tier 2 for high authority links. And share all the backlinks in social networking sites.

I've seen high DA sites that got that way with hidden spam links from .gov/.edu sites.

so from what I've gathered it's really just about domain maturity and getting links from already existing high quality links.

Domain authority won't make your site go viral, great content instead most probably will.

it's more about positioning for local businesses than going viral
