Domain Authority or Alexa Rank: Backlinks

Hey Guys,

Im working on an art website and we are trying to boost our SEO through whitehat link building. I have researched some art blogs and I have found a few with good DA and PA but 0 traffic. Are these links still valuable? Does Alexa rank affect the value of the link? Here is a few websites I found through my research

Should I try to get linked to from these websites or is it not worth my time since the Alexa rank trash?

go for it; DA are good, the sites look real, traffic is not yet a measure of link value (could be to a small degree), so yes at 1st glance these links are fine; and there is a little traffic, it is not like these sites are dead.

If you consider pure whitehat strategy then traffic with sites are preferable only. All top marketer only suggest links from sites which are legitimate, balancing RD, DA and organic traffic.

Alexa ranks are very off so i wouldn't put too much track on them. However, if you are looking for external metrics I would much prefer Ahrefs or something similar (SEM Rush for example) as giving you a more accurate measure of a sites value - or even Majestics TF/CF ratio

You have just answered all your questions. The strategies you've mentioned are good and will work. But I won't focus too much on Alexa rank, because as what you've already mentioned, it's trash.

DA/PA may not be a conclusive method to measure that site's authority, but anything above DA/PA>35 would be a good site to begin with - just need extra vetting for whether that site has spam links or not.
Otherwise, you may include 1 more additional metric which is TF to see whether that site is worth it or not. Normally a site that has TF>20 would be a good candidate when I screen my site list.

Thank you. Another question for you guys @ContentWriter @Kuz32 @wblteam My art project is a recurring subscription. I was thinking about offering it to the websites that agree for free for one link per month when they recieve my product. Would it be beneficial for my site to have multiple links from these sites or is it only one link that matters? If I get most of the benefit from just one link then it might not be worth continuing to offer my product for free to these website owners.

If I wanted to rank for say "best art subscription boxes" should I write an article about that topic and have a few of these sites link to it in exchange for my product?

Multiple links from the same domain are not carrying additional value like a single link from a domain. So, it wouldn't be beneficial for you.

It's up to you about the business policy how to deal with the client by giving free or bouns.

If you want to rank for any topic or a keyword, you must need a quality content. First, do some research on the topic or keyword competition
and content analysis of competitors who are ranking for targeted topic or keyword. So that you can understand how much effort needed to put
to rank for the targeted keyword like how many links needed (only build quality backlinks) , what is the length of content, what sort information should be covered in the article, etc.
