Tonight I was hunting on namecheap for domains for my new hustle.
Then I tried to make a variation on a domain of the biggest worldwide competitor (company its evaluated on 145M€ - 218M€) and I got this domain that its the last two letters but switched (ex: switched xxxei for xxxie).
I tried some "Domain Appraisal Online Tools" on third-party websites (godaddy, freevaluator) and they evaluated it from 1400€ - 5000€

I have no experience on this domain thing, its this reliable or is there any algebra thing to calculate it.

What you guys think?

Thanks.

Those domain appraisal tools are bs. You can find many domains in that price range. Go to some website/domain flipping website you will find websites with shitty names/domains going for 10000$ + prices. Don’t rely on those tools just pick what you like then make sure you build a good website that brings traffic thats what matters.

appraiser tools might as well be pulling numbers out of a hat. baseless estimate.
typo domains can be decent. after all many people mistype google as googel.
what's it value? hard to say. go on a forum specializing in domains and you'll find a broad array of numbers thrown at you. ultimately it's worth what someone else is willing to pay.
imo you'll have easier time making money redirecting the link to a cpa offer for a year, than attempting to find a serious money buyer.

Looks like those tools suck ahm

Well if anyone would like to appraisal this domain I can send it through pm, maybe its better to sell it or redirect cpa offer or whatever
