Well, I was not just talking about Trustrank but all of the attributes that goes with an aged domain, including trustrank. This might be some PR, the link juice, and most importantly the trust that a domain wins after a couple of years.
Trustrank seems more of a page level metric, and not a domain specific one. The following links shed more light on the subject:
