Doing PPD Niche Research

I'm doing research to find a profitable keyword to make some videos about and rank, but youtube keyword tool doesn't seem to give much information.
Which tool do you guys use? I think google keyword planner isn't the right one to use because the competition aren't webpages but video pages on youtube.
So guys, any suggestions . way you find beatable competition keyword?
