Is it possible to run a adwords/merchant center campaign without using a premier agency? Or is it too difficult?

You will face some sort of difficulties like how to set the budget and how to use the bid range etc...
It's always good to have an expert advice on this.

Well adwords is not that tough to manage, just start with low budget and within a week or two you will get a hang of it once you start. Yes expert advice is definitely good, but still it is easily manageable even if you have just decent knowledge about it.

First you need conversion tracking then write tons of different ads and use a good amount of keywords. Then test them out and turn those off that don't convert. With adwords you need to tweak everything all the time for best results.
