Earlier there was shorts fund to pay shorts creators. Is there any similar program running currently to reward youtube creators focussed on shorts content ?
Does youtube still has some separate program for shorts ?

There was some promotion going few days before where they were paying some bonus to short creators. But it was one time.

No — YouTube no longer runs a separate Shorts Fund or standalone program just for Shorts. The old $100 M YouTube Shorts Fund was retired, and Shorts are now monetized through ad revenue sharing inside the main YouTube Partner Program (YPP) where eligible creators earn a share (about 45 %) of ad revenue from ads shown between Shorts in the feed.

think nowadays you will have to focus on both shorts and non shorts content

That was just a bait to lure more creators for shorts and to compete with IG reels. Now, they have enough creators to ditch the fund. Shorts are currently monetized through ad revenue share like long form content.

The shorts fund is gone now shorts creators earn only through the youtube partner program via ad revenue.

Currently, YouTube no longer has a separate Shorts Fund; it's integrated into the YPP monetization program. To receive payments from Shorts, you need to qualify for YPP and receive a share of advertising revenue instead of a fixed bonus as before.

The original YouTube Shorts Fund program that paid creators directly for Shorts is no longer running. YouTube retired that separate fund (it was around in 2021–2022) and has replaced it with a different monetization model.
