Does video Marketing work?

Producing videos and posting them on all the video hosting sites do make a lot of sense. one get links and presumably traffic.

However, most of the video hosting sites do not offer the possibility to post links with ******** attributes and it is widely accepted that vistors from video sites do no convert very well.

So my question is: Is it still worthwhile my time to produce videos and get a bunch of NOFOLLOW links?
