You can use photoshop and batch proccess a full folder of images, you can set the values. Like for example, if I had 1000 images of different sizes and filetypes, could run a batch and resize all 1000 images to like.. 300x300 and all to web optimized jpegs in just a few seconds.. Definitely useful.
