Hey , i wanted to know if i have Tumblr.com blogs with PR2 can i use them to create my own PBN's? Or better is to buy a high pr domain and use it ? Or it doesn't mather as long as PR is high ?

Technically, you can use use Tumblr blogs to build your own "blog network". The difference between Tumblr and buying your own domain is they (Tumblr) can delete your blog any time they feel like it and waste all your hard work whereas if you buy your own domain, you control everything about it.
 
Another difference is your own network would ideally have better IP diversity so I feel it's less likely to be discovered.
 
You would actually be fine with ONE tumblr site in your network but like mentioned just above all your sites being the same Web 2.0 inside the PBN is not your best move.
 
how can you avoid being banned.... can you register them w/ different accounts? This way they don't find the "honey pot"
If you have like 5 different accounts with 5 tumblrs in each, then they may find 1 batch of 5.... versus finding 1 batch/account with all of them.
 
Web 2.0s aren't reliable for use in a PBN because you could lose them at any time. You are better off purchasing and using expired domains.
 
You can use tumblr with your own domain. Contrary to common belief PR is not important at all.
