Does your majestic trust flow score equate to higher rankings in the search engines?

for example, if I could get to TF 30, would I rank higher than a site with TF 15?

No, Trust Flow is a Third party metric and it has nothing to do with Google (or any other search engine) ranking.

is there at least a correlation between ranking an TF though?

It can give you a sense that your on the right track but there is no direct correlation. My websites rank higher as my TF goes up but that number could also be easily manipulated and you could have declining rankings as your TF goes up.
I tend to use it mostly as a quick evaluation when I am going blogger outreach

No, It doesn't..
If a site has a high amount of Trust Flow and low Citation Flow this means that the links pointing to that site are from very trustworthy sources.

Pick a metric and stick with it, but better yet combine all three (Majestic, Moz, & Google)

When I was tight on budget, I would focus on increasing my Moz metrics. I eventually moved on to Majestic's and I really like their metrics A LOT better.

Moz metrics are to easily manipulated vs Majestic in my opinion which is why I like use them instead.

Age domains with DA PA Trust flow with good legit backlinks, good history does affect rankings
but its still depends on your website quality ,onpage,offpage,etc..

dont believe on guru clowns who said TF does not have affect on google
lets says 2 domains, 1 is old age with trust flow DA,PA
and the other domains is newly bought without a history

we will try making new website and the same niche for each other
i can assure you the old with good metrics will rank better
it will rank faster than the new domain, faster indexing..etc..
having an age domains with good metrics does have so many advantage, but its have disadvantage too
dont always believe on what you can read here, some of them are clowns who understimate majestic and moz
and yeah dont believe on me too, im not guru but its just base on my exp..:D
if I could get to TF 30, would I rank higher than a site with TF 15?
but if i will to answer your question, is yes and no, its depends on your website quality, try it

OP, I think @renzuken is right on the money. No denying it.

I agree with Renzunken but DA & PA really depends on which country.

For my country The Netherlands the Moz scraper is really bad and it misses a lot of backlinks. The result is a wrong PA and DA because those metrics are based on the links it scraped. So for the Netherlands DA & PA are useless and you want to go with TF & CF :-)

Trust Flow only measures how trustworthy the site is based on the quality of the links. Still it depends on the authority of the domain, relevancy and quality of the links as far as ranking is concerned.

Majestic, MOZ, Ahrefs metrics can be cheated that easy that make it pointless. A domain with TF 30 means nothing: maybe the backlinks come from directories with high TF at page level with 500OBL. Maybe it has some strong SAPE links. It's all about backlink quality.

Saying that a domain will rank better because Moz/Majestic metrics is like saying you should know how to solve Fermat's last theorem because you made an A+ on a math test when you were in school. You have used a related, but wrong metric :)

In short: they all suck, the only metric I'd care about is QS (Quality Score) and Google knows how to keep it safe (at least for me).

Some domains with low TF are more interesting than other with higher score. At the end you still need to check the backlinks so better to forgot TF

TF doesn't rank you but it is an indicator of a quality link, not proof.

Its generally agreed that google uses 200+ metrics to decide which site ranks where.

You can use Moz/Alexa/Majestic/Ahrefs/Semrush to get an idea of how a site ranks combine this with waybackmahine to see content (if its not a live site)

Is the site a brand/on google+/facebook/twitter, yes social citations mean little (when comparing to big sites) but the help to make a site look legit

Ranking higher than a lower TF means nothing in the grand scheme of things as you need to check all other metrics

TF cannot affect ranking in anyway mate

TF is just another metric provided by a third party company. It should be used to give you a general idea of how good a site is but remember it can be faked and some good sites are not even ranked due to the fact that they have blocked them.

Trust flow and citation flow are provided by third party company. so you can trust your trust flow

Absolutely not. Only PageRank would matter, however, the public version of it is no longer updated, and Google won't let us use the internal one :P
