I know that search engines track mouse movements on sites to identify bots.
Now I am writing a program that emulates the actions of users on the Facebook in regular browsers.

Question:
Should I emulate mouse movements, as ordinary users or the Facebook does not pay attention to it?
Do I need to make chaotic mouse movements, which are usually made by a live user?

What is your opinion?

Clientrect is what these sites track using.
User fingerprinting service use heatmap of mouse movements then why should not fb too
 
It makes senses they would for ad purposes so I am sure they can borrow for spam
 
Nearly all of these big websites use heat-mapping at the very least, usually for conversion purposes.

They do. And simulation wont help you unless you record 1000 samples od tou moving around, and make AI to push the samples to it to generate milion combinations of the same presets.
 
I know how to do this. I have already done quite a working scrolling emulation. Emulation of the mouse is certainly more difficult, since you have to work in two coordinate axes. But, you do not need 1K samples. It’s enough 20-30, and then combine their parts and convert the coordinates of the samples. The work is hard, but quite doable.
 
Whats your setup look like? As in what software are you using? Selenium, puppeteer?
 
I track that on my website so why FB wouldn't do?
 
Its Facebook, i do not trust them in anyway. They probably record everything you do, did and will do in future, lol.
 
Well this is all skeptical as no one working at facebook is going to tell you they do. And my answer will be skeptical as well so take it with a grain of salt:

I believe people give these companies too much credit for what they are capable of. I think tracking mouse movements is absurd and really useless information for that company and just a cost on data usage of their servers.

What makes more sense is that they track clicks but not movement. Simply put In order to hold BILLIONS of accounts mouse movement data would require A HUGE amount of infrastructure to store it all and analyze it.
Its not easy to do. Like really not easy at all.

Can facebook do it? Maybe

Would they spend millions of dollars trying and see a ROI in their investment? DO you think their investors and shareholders think its a good idea of their investment to track mouse movement?
