I would highly recommend that you choose another platform. It will be very very difficult for you to get started with little to zero knowledge and experience. Especially if you aren’t will to spend the money to first get actually high quality proxies.



if I may, I suggest that you look at another platform with much less detections and that will be easier for you to start out in. SoundCloud, from my experience is just that. I’ve personally have had bot forms on majority of the music platforms and I still do mostly to this day. However, Soundcloud has been the absolute most profitable for me as currently I make on average between $8-$13k monthly collectively from all my “ghost artists”.



A tip I would also suggest is to not put all your eggs into one basket. You want to make sure to spread your streams over multiple multiple artist. Furthermore you will also want to obviously spread your artist over multiple multiple different distributors. And when you stream, stream to various playlists, tracks, albums, searched plays, etc etc. You need to make sure everything looks legitimate. For every artist, create social media accounts and post to them etc etc.



There is a lot of work that truly goes into doing it the right way to achieve success. Takes a lot of time, money and patience. But if you are willing to learn and put in the work and money for investment you can eventually become successful in this type of business.

Soundcloud wants you to pay them 100 bucks a year for distribution just to get royalties. It's a racket not worth it. esp if you are distributed from Distrokid, etc.

Why pay annual when you can pay $16 a month? You’d make much more than $16 a month obviously if you properly start a bot farm. Doesn’t even take much investment.
Furthermore, I specialize in SoundCloud bot farm and I can say for 100% facts it’s very profitable.

Also there are only a select few distributors that actually distribute to SoundCloud. Only ones I use is SoundCloud directly (obviously), Routenote and Amuse (Boost&Pro).

SoundCloud takes about 2 months to payout. As they are on net60.

^I want to also make note that it takes about 2 months to get reports from other platforms.

Now when getting paid for streaming on Soundclound platform itself, you can get paid as soon as the end of the following month.

So for example, if you streamed in November, you can expect to get paid out at the end of December.

Also, how the streams work on SoundCloud specifically is you only get paid for ad views and views from upgraded subs. So regardless if you have say 1,000,000 streams for the month you may only get 500,000 ad streams. Your royalty report will only reflect these ad streams. Your insights for the month even though it shows you’ve done for example, the 1 millions streams you will only get paid for the ads that were viewed during this month. So if the viewer has ad block enabled, or no ads were played, you won’t get any ad revenue from that stream. If your tracks are played in a country that SoundCloud doesn’t support advertisers then you won’t get any ad revenue.

Now how the fan powered royalties works is basically the same. Except that the ads revenue is collected on each account that is listening on SoundCloud and at the end of the month they calculate which artist from that users account was streamed the most and that ad revenue will be split between those artists.

^This was just an example with short simple explanation of how it works.

Why would I pay them anything? I'm bringing them hundreds of thousands of streams. It's bullshit you can't even send DMs to people without being pro. CD Baby doesn't mess with them and rightfully so.

Hey, has anyone tested if WireGuard VPN can be used like this? I’ve got friends worldwide and I was thinking maybe I could set up a VM with WireGuard on their residential internet. Would that actually work, or does Spotify detect the WireGuard protocol? I basically just want to route through my friends’ home connections—maybe that could bypass detection?
