Does Social Locker influence SEO?

I thought about implementing a Social locker on my website, but Im not sure if thats a good idea. Could it effect my site ranking? Because Google could see it as something trying to trick people into sending social signals without any real value (Even if it is real value, google couldnt f.ex. read your E-Book and then look if it good).
